Exo Mafia Au Rated pg 13 Your POV    All was still as the gun’s echo rung through out the house. I was pretty sure my stomach was now in the basement as I tried to register the situation. Kyungsoo was quick to turn around to check me for injuries. His larger hands softly grasping my face, turning it all over searching desperately for any wounds. His eyes softened with relief as he pulled me into a strong embrace. His warm body slowly relaxing my shaken up form.

 “Woah..hey y/n are you sure you’re okay?” Baekhyun’s voice rang out. Kyungsoo pulled away to look at where me. His whole body tensed when he looked up near my head. Quickly moving backwards he grabbed me by the wrist, dragging me away from the wall and closer to the group. Shocked and confused as to what was happening I looked behind me. I let out a sharp gasp. There was a perfect bullet hole just inches away from where my head was. 

My knees buckled underneath me before I could even comprehend it. Kyungsoo caught my underarms before I could hit the floor. Like I was a child, he scooped me up into his arms lightly bouncing me. Tears welled into my eyes my whole body running cold.

 “Hey, its okay sweetheart,” He whispered to me, trying to console me. My vision began to blur and my breathing became erratic. The last thing I heard before blacking out was Kyungsoo’s soft voice saying “you’re safe now, i’ve got you.” 

  My body shot into consciousness, my eyes opening as fast as I was able. My fingers lightly gripping the fabric that lay beneath them. My neck stiff as I shifted to move my head to glance at my surroundings. I let out a breath of laughter as I recognized Kyungsoo’s prized apron peaking out of its place in his closet. Rolling over in his bed I let my feet gently scrape the floor. Shivering as the cold wood met my toes. Making goosebumps run all over my body. Hopping off, I hastily made my way over to his door.

 Once I opened it i was greeted with a smiley faced Chanyeol.

“Hello y/n-ah! Are you feeling better?” I couldn’t help but smile gently at his child like excitement.

“Fortunately I am, thank you for asking.” He nodded rapidly. Then, shyly grasping his hands together he twisted side to side like a child asking his mother for some candy.

“Would it be okay if I help you down the stairs?” Slightly shocked by his sudden question I became flustered. Beginning to fumble with my own hands.

“Um sure I guess, as long as Kyungsoo’s okay with it!” His eyes sparkled as my words.

“Oh of course I asked him first! But maybe not specifically about this…” 

“Huh? Wait wha..” Before I could even finish my sentence Chanyeol swiftly, but gently, picked me up bridal style and ran down the stairs. My squeals and screams had no effect on him as he smiled mischievously. I sighed as he just giggled away, his puppy like nature taking over. “What are you doing Chanyeol…?” A small smile forming onto my face. Chanyeol doing the exact opposite. His body slumping as he reluctantly put me down. Sheepishly scratching he back of his head he made a quick dash for the exit before Kyungsoo could do anything. “Aish what am I going to do with him?” I chuckled softly while walking over to him. I wrapped my arms around him placing my head into his neck as I breathed in his scent. “Let it be, he was just having a little fun. I probably gave him a scare by my episode earlier.” Kyungsoo hummed in agreement. Running his fingers through my hair. “Are you feeling better?” I nodded in our embrace. “Much.” “Good because we are getting ready to have a meeting about what we are going to do about the meaning behind the bullet hole.” I backed away from him so I was face to face with him. “Wait you guys already know who did it and why?” Kyungsoo nodded, his eyes darkening a bit. “I have a few ideas.”
