Daminette prompt (you decide how it goes edition): Marinette and Damian break up because Marinette had to go away on tour with Jagged. They both get new partners, Marinette and her partner broke up because he cheated on her . But Damian is still dating his new partner. Marinette is back in Gotham. The Waynes are having a backyard barbecue and they want to invite Marinette because they heard that she is back. They sit Damian down and ask if it is ok, if they invite Marinette. Damian says yes because "It is not like we ended on bad terms" everyone is excited then Damian says "I'm going to tell me girlfriend that she is coming". The girlfriend doesn't take it well.

Marinette comes to the barbecue…..it is now up to you to decide what happens next

Another Maribat prompt! I tried to write this one but it wasn't working out for me 😭, so I thought I'd post the idea here so maybe someone would have better luck than me.

Another "Marinette is shipped off for BioDad!Bruce Wayne" storyline because I really like those ones, but with a little 💥flare~💥

Prompt: Because shes constantly getting in trouble Sabine and Tom send her to Bruce to straighten her out. Bruce read her school files but didn't look too deep because he didn't think a school would be so incompetent not to research bullying, and thievery claims, and he is not impressed. Right out of the gate, before Marinette can even enter the house, he lays down the rules. And of course he told the others, warning them so they wouldn't be swayed. So, there Marinette stands, in a unfamiliar country, in a unfamiliar house(manor), with unfamiliar people staring at her like shes a wild, unpredictable animal(they didn't even give her the decency of letting her prove herself) after her parents, friends, and school basically turned their backs on her, and something just snaps.

She was Marinette Cheng, upcoming fashion designer, and weilder of (and Gaurdian of) the Miraculous. If they wanted to treat her like a wild, unpredictable animal, fine then, she'd give them what they wanted! But it was well known that if you corner a injured animal, they will fight, and fight she does.

Marinette is coldly polite with them(except Alfred, Jason, and Seline who she happily greets, and chats with because they treat her normally), until they treat her badly, and then all gloves are off. And boy does she know how to hit them right where it hurts. They hurt her? Well shes going to hurt them right back.

Bruce watches her likes shes going to steal something from the manor when she just stopped to gaze at a picture? She loudly wonders what her 'grandparents' would think about the untrusting, emotionally shut off batchelor Bruce had become. Damian sneers at her while she sketches in the garden? Marinette gushes about how lucky she was that her parents had at least kept her around because they loved her instead of seeing her as a weapon for their own means. Dick suspiously questions where she got the money to afford 3 MDC originals? Marinette cant help but wonder what it feels like to be continuously replaced by stronger, smarter, and blood related siblings. Tim questions why she would take answers to a test when she could get high marks if she just tried after it's his turn to check her homework? Wow Marinette sure is glad she doesn't want any part of Wayne industries because she would hate to be used as a pack mule who's only use is to do the paperwork Bruce doesn't want to do.

But sometimes the injured animal, after fighting for so long, just can't fight back anymore, at which point they can either surrender, or run.

Bonus Points if: Marinette is the Black Cat and Gaurdian rather than the Ladybug, and Cat Woman + Marinette bonding both in and out of the suit.

A/N: You can change this in your rendition of this prompt, but I have a reason that Alfred, Jason, and Seline were spared. Alfred knows all and treats Marinette like he would anyone else, Jason is really carefree and can tell when someone is just trying to defend themselves(plus watching his families insecurities get poked at by a little girl is hilarious), and Seline warned Bruce not to go in guns blazing and recognized her defense mechanism for what it was as soon as she had seen Marinette's eyes during the first interaction between Bruce and Marinette(plus Seline + Marinette step mom and daughter bonding).

My friend teaches high school history and allowed his students to do their chapter summaries on their chosen biographies as originally created memes. He said that he had never had kids read so carefully to find the most obscure detail from chapters to make their memes. [pro-tip, for younger middle school/elementary school students, make a folder of popular meme templates, to avoid uncomfortable internet searches}

This reminds me of my class watching the 90s film and when it got to this scene some guy in my class shouted out ‘hoe don’t do it’ and then 5 seconds later -sigh- ‘he did it’.

Sometimes I don’t want fake dating, sometimes I want secret dating, where Adrien and Marinette are pretending not to be together but they’re really bad at it

Everyone is like “those two are absolutely dating but do they know?” so while adrienette are dating, they’re trying to tell everyone they’re just friends, but they’re so bad at pretending that it looks like they just haven’t realized they’re together yet

It’s very important that there is no miscommunication between Adrien and Marinette here. They both know everything and are very much in love and together. The miscommunication is that they think they’ve fooled everyone else but they very much have not

Gotham trip idea with a twist

After Hawkmoth is dealt with Alya wins a trip to Gotham, because Bruce hopes to learn more from her about the heroes and who they are (but that's not the official story). Lila convinces Bustier to not have Marinette come with them (although the class would have wanted her to join).

Marinette is fine with staying behind. She wants to stay with Adrien after his dad got outed as Hawkmoth. His aunt is also coming to Paris with Felix and she wants to make sure they are treating him well. Felix and she end up bonding over their disdain for Gabriel.

In Gotham the class sees a picture of the young Martha Wayne in a museum and realise that she looks eerily like Marinette. Jason (with them as a sort of bodyguard) overhears what they are saying and asks Alya to see a picture of Marinette. She shows him and he tells Tim, joking that Bruce might have another child out there. Tim, gloriously sleep deprived, doesn't get the joke and takes him serious. He starts researching and ends up flying to Paris to get DNA material for a paternity test and since he didn't tell anyone all hell breaks loose in Gotham.

“-and to your right, Gotham Cathedral.” Marinette said, giving a soft sigh as she gazed upon the abandoned cathedral. 

Despite being old, covered in moss, some plants poking through its cracks, the cathedral was still a wonder to behold. Oh, the many inspirations she’s had when-

“-was there to help design this building.” Lila interrupted her thoughts, everything in Mari gathering in attempts to keep cool. “The architect loved all of my ideas, especially the little men that you can see at the edges of the church.”

“Lila, this cathedral was designed years before any of us were born.” Marinette explained, motioning the class to keep walking, keeping an eye on those who were gawking at the old church and taking pictures. “There was no way you were there to help. And for the record, those are gargoyles perched at the edge.”

“I meant redesigning. Obviously you can tell they-“ 

“There was no resigning.” Marinette interjected once more. “While it did take years to build and there were a few retouches, there have been no additions to this building for the past 20 years. No one has even set foot in this cathedral since-“

“Geez Marinette, we get it.” Alix said with the roll of her eyes. “Just because you are a Gothamite, it doesn’t mean that we didn’t do our research beforehand, even if it sounds hard to believe. And yes, we did read your guide before coming here, unlike a certain someone.” Alix ended with a grin and jagged a thumb towards Kim. “Though, I’m not going to lie, it’s fun to see you scold us as if we were your kids.”

Marinette felt a blush creep onto her face, only then starting to realize her anxiety having controlled her for a while. She was being a mother hen again without realizing it.

“Don’t fret about it Marinette.” Adrien smiled, causing Marinette to loosen her shoulders. “It’s always good to have someone watching over us. After all, some of us need it.” Adrien motioned to Kim’s direction, Marinette turning to see Kim getting reminded, or rather getting scolded, by Max to not wander off, Alix already chasing him with a child harness in her hand. 

Marinette watched as Rose, Mylene and Juleka read the pamphlet Marinette had made for the trip, Ivan surveying the area as he let the girls take pictures of the old church while Natheniel was just a few steps ahead of them. He observed the area for a while before making a quick sketch in his notebook before pocketing it away.

When he made eye contact with Marinette, he smiled at her, showing her the tracking bracelets Max had made for everyone. His black bracelet shone in the sun, a small fox charm dangling from it. A nod to Paris’ Rena Rouge.
