If they are not alright now, surely they will be-- in all given time, is that too cheesy to say? I’m doing just fine, the boys and I leave tomorrow for the holiday, so that is exciting-- it’s their first plane ride, so I’ve been making backpacks of things to hopefully keep them entertained. Besides, whatever it is illing you, how are you Dave?

Oh, I wish I had seen this sooner. I would have loved to help with gingerbread houses, that sounds so fun!
Best of luck to you in balancing everything you have going on and if you need extra hands I know there are plenty staying on or around campus that would more than likely be willing to help you out.
Does frosting in your hair sound fun? Because that is surely how it ended.

Oh, it was good too. Boring but nothing to complain about. I think I would have preferred frosting hair and gingerbread houses, but that’s just cuz I like kids.

Boring is better than bad? I’m sure they’ll want to do it again, even well after the holidays-- when that happens, you are more than welome to join us.

Eating the house is really 90% of the fun, so I’d say they’re doing it right. How old are they?
It is, I don’t want to think of how many chemicals are in them, because that will ruin how good they are. They are both 8 years old.

Why can’t you say no to them? I thought part of parenting was learning when to say no to your kids.
One does not say no all the time-- I was more or less joking in the manner.

I’ll give you that. I am sure children are a handful. They look like it anyway. I couldn’t handle them more then 20 minutes.
They are, but I’d like to think I have a good grip on the parenting thing-- it’s good that you just get to be the fun cousin then, huh?
Here’s the million dollar question, do you let them eat it after or do you hot glue the thing so it doesn’t fall apart, so they can’t even try to eat it once the holidays are over?
Ive never even thought of hot glueing them together!

It’s always worse in your head then it turns to be, don’t worry. Just spending it with my sons, family-- maybe my cousins, I’m not too keen on this time of year, but with kids I have to be.
