A genius. A single, silly man who found the lost chord. Which means a different combination of notes would banish you?

also they keep bringing up babies + parents. obviously Ruby and her mom and the mystery of her birthmother, but we got the space babies and the nan-E, we even got a Susan mention! and Maestro is the Toymaker's child. also the Doctor keeps bringing up how he is "the last one". I'm really rooting for Ruby to be of the species of the Doctor. as in, the species that crossed from the wormhole, seen in 13's seasons. but we'll see!
This is a brand new science for me, and I love it. The language of luck. 'Cause what is a coincidence but a form of accident? Two things bumping together unexpectedly. Like you and me.

so 15 said that most of the universe is broken. the machine that made babies broke down and it made a boogeyman, turning a story into truth. in the christmas special, we saw goblins stealing babies, like in a story. in the beatles episode, the very embodiment of music shows up, the music turns diegetic and there are several 4th wall breaks, and the logic of musicals turns real for a moment (maybe) and they have a musical number. 14 was worried because he invoked a story at the edge of the universe, using the folktale that salt will ward off evil spirits. maybe a sort of narrative imperative is governing over the universe in doctor who this season. maybe that's why the logic of stories becomes real.
fully losing it at ruby reading a sign that says “pacifico del rio” and goes “oh it’s in english!”
