Since I didn't reblog their post directly, I had to check first, if I follow them at all, I don't really keep tracks of followers/followed blogs. I do follow them but as far as I can see, they haven't posted in months so... I scrolled through their blog, I found 2-3 posts in which they complained about certain bloggers using their contents without credits. I don't know if that's what you meant by "agitation" and "active harassment". I can't really relate to the harsh manners of those posts but reblogging and giving credits are the basic rules of social media, so I can understand the reasons if they are truly grounded.

As for maybes and suspicious comments left to you - I don't know what you mean since you wrote me anonymously, they left Tumblr months ago so it must be an older story... I'm sorry if you had negative experiences with them and you have the right to avoid anybody who has a bad vibe. Feel free to unfollow even me if you think I'm not consequent (I wouldn't notice anyway, see above.).

This fandom was supposed to be a fun thing... I hate that it has become, like, a matter of life and death to certain people. It's not.

I seriously miss the time when the cause of turmoil in this fandom was establishing if comments were too thirsty or not thirsty enough or whether Paranormal end-of-the-world Chris+Ed slash fanfic involving vampires and aliens was respectful or not.

Chapter 61 - Shirts, questions and the Fonz with a moustache

In the previous chapter: Jerry goes on his blind date and meets Heather. Surprisingly, she too reveals that she's not interested in meeting guys at the moment. Realizing that they are very similar and in the same situation, she convinces Jerry to pretend that the two of them are dating so as to be left alone by their respective friends. During a question-and-answer game between Stone and Grace, the two discuss how she hasn't let him sleep with her in her bed yet due to her insecurities. In the end Stone manages to calm her down and convince her to take this step with him. Eddie and Angie finally manage to spend an evening together, with pizza and horror movies. Eddie tries again to make her change her mind about Cameron Crowe's film and reveals that for him it's a special occasion: exactly one month has passed since their first kiss. Angie feels guilty because she hadn't thought about the anniversary at all, not being used to this type of things in her past relationships.

Hi! My band of choice is Bon Jovi and I picked them specificallly to spite my friend Angie!

  1. Bon Jovi (1984): Of course my fav it's Runaway because it's a hell of an album intro with a hell of a song intro
  2. 78000° Fahrenheit (1985): Their worst album, I'd say Tokyo Road, although the sample of the music box at the beginning is quite scary!
  3. Slippery when wet (1986): Their best one! It's perfect from start to end but Livin' on a prayer... I mean, it's a classic already
  4. New Jersey (1988): My favorite one! Blood on blood is such a great song with a Springsteenlike flavour. They're both from NJ after all...

Give yourself permission to write garbage.

This is the best writing advice I have ever received. Ever.

Anytime I either find myself intimidated by writing something or I simply can’t seem to get words moving, I use this. It’s great for the run of the mill perfectionist, as well.

Giving yourself permission to write garbage means letting yourself do something imperfectly. I always use this when I can’t seem to find a place to start, and I set out to write the “worst version” of whatever I’m writing. Not only do I give myself permission to write badly; I ask myself to. Instead of writing something eloquent like “the banisters were carved straight out of Queen Victoria’s past” I’ll write “the banisters were fancy-looking and stuff”. Or rather than coming up with the beautiful world building of the setting, I’ll just start with “they’re outside and it’s pretty” and move on.

Every time I do this, perhaps the first line or two will be a little worse for wear, but as a whole, never comes out “bad”. You’re just giving yourself the opportunity to write a “first coat”, if you will, and then add onto it when you edit later. And often I just need this advice to write the first sentence, and then I’m in the flow again. For me, at least, if I didn’t do this when I needed it, I’d just sit paralyzed at my computer staring at a blinking cursor. I’d rather just type some garbage that I can edit later than have nothing at all.

It’s simple and it’s silly (and sometimes cringe-worthy), but it gets you writing and that’s all that matters.

Multiple times. For example, I'd always said I'd never be the one that pretends not to see people in the streets once you're not friends with them anymore. But then, I did and I do.

Once I was mopping the floor at work before opening and I was alone and I accidentally hit the bucket full of water and it fell and basically flooded the whole shop. I managed to dry the floor in record time seconds before the first customer got in. And neither the boss nor any of my colleagues ever knew .
