𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵, they were headstrong and the first to strike in a fight, patience was something they struggled with and with that lack of patience came a struggle to connect with the force. it was why these meditation lessons were so 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 and they had to remain focused. but there was something else that was starting to stir everyone up, it was time for them to be joined with a jedi knight to become their padawan. with the ongoing war, it was more important than ever to be showing each jedi knight and master that you were someone they would 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 to be their padawan. mercy was trying to not let the pressure get to them, to show their skills and show that they knew they still so much more to learn, but that they weren't scared of anything, they worked hard and they could listen. but they were nervous that their lack of patience and struggle with the force would mean that 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 would want to pick them.
𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, eyes closed and hands resting on their knees, keeping their breathing calm. it was all they could do, just stay focused and calm. it was the thing they struggled with the most and it felt more like a struggle even now. mercy just had to put as much focus into this part of their 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 as they did their fighting and saber skills. yet the voice that broke through was someone they never expected that would take a notice in them, master obi wan kenobi. green eyes open to look up at the jedi master, whose reputation was definitely something that every jedi padawan knew about and someone that everyone would love to be trained by. nodding their head, a small smile pulling at their lips, " of course, master, " mercy knew this was something happening more often, jedi knights and masters without padawans coming to talk with them and see if they would be interested in taking them on as a padawan. this was their chance to prove that they would be happy and honoured to 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 from master kenobi, " i heard you were injured, i hope you're healing quickly, "
