🌻 little habits/things to do more of 🌻

dailies

  • make your bed. (no, really.)
  • set your top 3 to-dos for the day.
  • do your top 3 to-dos for the day. (heh)
  • stretch.
  • unpack your bag when you get home.
  • prepare your things for the next day before sleeping.
  • skincare. (your basic cleanse and moisturize)
  • sweep the floor of your bedroom.
  • talk to your plants. (if you have plants)
  • update your financial report/expense tracker.
  • take a good photo.
  • meditate.
  • hug at least three people. (seriously.)

weeklies

  • polish your school shoes.
  • mop your bedroom floor.
  • dare i say, laundry. (don’t put it off!)
  • exfoliate.
  • take a leisure walk.
  • review your past week and plan your next week accordingly. (a part of your routine may not be working–try something new)
  • make a piece of art. (a sketch, a collage, a quote in pretty lettering, a god-awful poem..)
  • sanitize your gadgets. (whip out the wet tissue and wipe away at your phone, your laptop, your mouse, your earphones–just don’t forget to IMMEDIATELY follow that up with a dry cloth to prevent fogging and short circuits)
  • watch a TED Talk.
  • make a new playlist.

monthlies

  • wash your bag.
  • wash your shoes.
  • change the sheets of your bed and your pillows.
  • clip your nails. (honestly)
  • wax/shave. (if you want. i just really like how fresh my skin feels after i torture it with razors and wax strips)
  • wipe your shelves/the tops of your furniture clean. (try to avoid dusting. it just scatters the dirt everywhere. use a damp cloth instead)
  • see if there’s anything in your storage that you don’t need/want anymore and give stuff away or sell them.
  • review your month and plan the next one accordingly. (just like your weeks. remember to refer to your Life Goal/Year’s Goals page)
  • finish reading at least one book. (and review it!)
  • discover new songs.

Playing Fortnite "naked" | 20.06.18

Phil: There’s a bit in one of our shows, where Dan was like: yeah, Phil plays Fortnite naked on the couch. And people literally thought I was there with it all hanging out, just playing Fortnite. Imagine-
Dan: Did I say that?
Phil: Yeah!
Dan: During the show?
Phil: It was the bit with the animals, and the animal was like going to play Fortnite and you were like: yeah, Phil plays Fortnite naked.
Dan: Okay, they have no idea what you’re talking about there. I have no idea what you’re referring to. What part of the show?
Phil: The part-
Dan: What part of the show?
*Phil whispers something to Dan*
Dan: Alright, that! So tentative. Right. Yeah, so apparently I implied-
Phil: People were tweeting me!
Dan: -that Phil plays Fortnite with his wang out-
Phil: I don’t! But I might have played it in my boxers, on a hot day. But that’s perfectly fine.
Dan: We have aircon, there’s no excuse for that.
Phil: I wouldn’t rub my arse all over the sofa!
Dan: Good to know that like a dog, you’re not just rubbing your arse all over the sofa while playing Fortnite.
Phil: I thought I would clarify that!
Dan: Is that really? Like hey Dan and Phil, oh, it’s been a couple of weeks since a live show - I’ve missed you. What do you want to talk about? Let’s talk about Phil being naked playing Fortnite. Jesus.
Phil: I had like 27 tweets like: Phil, what are you doing on Fortnite?
Dan: That cannot even remotely have been the worse thing that happened on this tour.

♡ Things To Do During Pride Month ♡

There doesn’t seem to be much else to do during pride month besides parades and local events, but I know many people, including me, would like to do more to celebrate. I tried looking around for things to do during pride month, but I couldn’t really find anything, so I decided to make my own post about it. Hope this gives y'all some great ideas! ♡♡

(P.S. Tumblr mobile is a bitch, so if you want a neater, easier to read version of this, go on desktop. I promise, it’s so much better.)

  • Support LGBTQIA+ creators online
  • There are tons of queer content creators on the internet, especially on the site this post is on! Go out there and support some of them by reblogging their content, spreading the word about them, giving them some money, or even commissioning them.
  • Some good ones you can start with are frostedpuffs, pseudophan, me ;3, catnippackets, and lavenderdreamer13. You’ll be able to find so many more, so start looking!
  • Support LGBTQIA+ musicians
  • Hayley Kiyoko, Kehlani, and Troye Sivan are great artists to start with. Some smaller artists are Steph Barrak, Dolly Blonde, Renée Yoxon, Lena Raine, Anthony Amorim, The Total Bettys, and Awkward Marina. There are so many more, so get out there and find them!
  • Support LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs.
  • Here are some entrepreneurs: Kamasine, Raza, Between Lines Clothing
  • And here are some great resources: 23 Queer Owned Businesses, LGBT-owned Businesses, Fall Essentials from LGBT+ Companies, LGBTQ Owned Etsy Shops
  • Donate to an LGBTQIA+ charity.
  • The Trevor Project, Family Equality Council, PFLAG, GLSEN, GLAD, Transgender Law Center, Lambda Literary, Pride At Work, Out and Equal Workplace Advocates, AVER, OutServe-SLDN, GLARP, SAGE, and the National Coalition for the Homeless are all good ones.
  • Volunteer at a local LGBTQIA+ organization
  • By simply googling “lgbt organizations near me” you could find many to volunteer at.
  • Go to a gay bar
  • Please only do this if you are of age, but going to a gay bar can be a great experience, especially during pride month. But be very careful, as there are some bad people across all sexualities, orientations, and genders.
  • Not of age? Try looking on google for some gay cafés and such in your area. They’re rare, but not non-existent.
  • Watch an LGBTQIA+ movie.
  • Classics like Brokeback Mountain, GBF, and But I’m A Cheerleader are great. Some lesser known, but great films include The Perfect Wedding, The Girl King, Holding The Man, and Shared Rooms.
  • Start (or even finish) an LGBTQIA+ show.
  • Good ones include, The Real O'Neals, Will and Grace, Queer Eye, and The Fosters
  • Some shows with LGBTQIA+ characters include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Bold Type, Wynonna Earp, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
  • Have fun using all of the pride themed features on social media
  • Take some snazzy pics or take casual selfies and use all the pride filters, stickers, and more. To take it up a notch, have a full-on pride photoshoot. Get rainbow (or other pride flag color schemes) accessories/props/backgrounds/etc, get cute balloons and/or confetti, and even invite some friends over for an epic shoot.
  • Watch and support LGBTQIA+ youtubers
  • Youtubers like HelloXRyan, MacDoesIt, MilesChronicles, and Ash Hardell are great choices. Look around and find some more!
  • Celebrate with your LGBTQIA+ and ally friends/family
  • The more the merrier! Celebrating pride month alone is wonderful and valid, but so is celebrating it with others. Do one or more of these things on this list with them!
  • Get yourself some pride gear!
  • C'mon! You deserve it. Go out there and get some nice pride stuff to celebrate. Get some stickers, a nice shirt, a cool notepad, or anything else!
  • Get tested
  • While much more serious, celebrate pride by being safe and healthy. Find out your status to keep you and your partners safe. Encourage others around you to do so as well, raise some awareness around you, and honor our predecessors whose lives have been touched or changed by HIV, AIDS, and STDs.
  • Make rainbow (or your preferred flag) food!
  • Get some Skittles or M&Ms and arrange them in order! Make pancakes and put food dye in them! Cook pride noodles! Make a pride cake! Do whatever you’d like to have a colorful pride meal.
  • Self care
  • Spend this pride month celebrating and taking care of you. Engaging in self care can make you feel so great and even pampered. Take a nice bath, put on a face mask, take some time to meditate, or even have a spa night. Take care of yourself and even get some pampering. Go to the nail salon or get a massage. Celebrate you! Maybe even make it pride themed while you’re at it.
  • Make some art
  • Maybe paint something with the colors of whatever flag you’d like. Make jewelry in the color scheme of your choice. Just have a great time making a prideful work of art. Google “fun art projects” or use Pinterest to get started.
  • Go on a date
  • Have a crush you’re head over heels for? Ask them out! Single and ready to mingle? Find a fellow single at a bar/party/etc and get a date! Is there a cute barista you’ve had your eye on? Get their number! Celebrate this pride month by having fun and celebrating your sexuality/orientation/gender with someone else. Have no one to ask and nowhere to find someone? Try out a dating site or app to get things going!
  • Get educated
  • Learn about queer history and the background of pride month. Research queer activists or famous people in history who are LGBTQIA+. Gain some knowledge!
  • Start with Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Pat Parker, Harvey Milk, the Stonewall Riots, the Gay Liberation movement, the Society for Human Rights, and the Mattachine Society.
  • Spend time with your family
  • Take this time to celebrate pride with others close to you. And don’t think friends don’t count as family, because they totally do! Whether your family is biological, honorary, chosen, or a mix, celebrate who you are with them.
  • Buy yourself a pride flag and hang it where everyone can see (if it’s safe for you to do so)
  • What better way to show some pride than hang a flag up! Whether it’d be in your home or right on your front lawn, show your pride and spirit in full color! Or maybe just wrap it around yourself and be a pride burrito.
  • Here are the cheapest flags I could fine: gay, lesbian, bi, pan, aro, ace, trans, nonbinary
  • Go to a pride event
  • A basic, but a classic. Google “pride events near me” and see what you can do!
  • Read some queer literature
  • Pick up some LGBTQIA+ books or check out an LGBTQIA+ author. Read some interesting queer non-fiction or have fun imagining with gay sci-fi.
  • Good starting points: Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, Leah on the Offbeat, Carry On, Sappho’s writing, Large Fears, Alison Bechdel, Virginia Woolf, Samuel R. Delany, Poppy Z. Brite
  • Put some pride in your hair
  • Whether you go to a hair salon or use spray-on hair paint, color up your hair to show your pride in style.
  • Play some games
  • Play classic games with a queer twist to have some prideful fun! Play charades/pictionary/etc with only LGBTQIA+ topics. Scour the internet for LGBTQIA+ themed bingo, crosswords, or word searches.
  • Go watch a drag show
  • Do it! Support a gay and celebrate pride all at once! No drag show near you? Catch up on some RuPaul’s Drag Race instead.
  • Get in drag
  • Why do Drag Race contestants get to have all the fun? Have some yourself and get a full drag makeover. Create a name and a persona and have fun being a queen.
  • Here are some helpful resources: Brow Coverage 101,  15 “Drag Race” Queens’ Tutorials, Applying A Wig Perfectly
  • Let your true self shine
  • Always wanted a certain haircut or to dye your hair? Do it! Want to wear more masculine/feminine/androgynous clothing? Do it! Always wanted to wear makeup? Do it! Closeted and itching to come out? If it’s safe, do it! Whatever it is that you’ve wanted to do, do it and be your most authentic self.
  • Throw a pride party
  • Do multiple of the things on this list or even add some of your own! Invite all the people you’d like to celebrate with and have a blast doing so.

This is incredible. A fantastic and obviously well-thought/researched resource. I’ve also seen a lack of stuff to do during pride month, and this has so many great ideas. Thanks for making this Trin!!

Awww, thank you so much! I wanted to make something that not only gave you ideas, but the means to do them and stuff. I wanted to have a lot of links so people can just immediately do them instead of having to look for a while. :)

-random applause that eventually encompasses the entire cafeteria -skipping classes to go to your friend’s lunch periods -”come with me i dont wanna go alone” -not knowing who you’re singing happy birthday for -“hey if i pay you will you go through the line and get me something” -knowing your id number so you can actually eat -only wearing your id during lunch period -that ONE security guard -”what’s even for lunch today” -HOLY FUCK IT’S CHICKEN NUGGET DAY -those girls who chill in the bathroom doing their makeup -fights = dinner AND a show -”hey what lunch do you have this year” “b” “damn i’m in c”

What the fuck does any of this mean why is there a security guard in your school what
