So I thinking about Archie and Charlemagne conquering the one trollmarket and making it their kingdom which they rule justly and resort freedom and rights to the trolls there, and that made me wonder what the hierarchy would be. Cause is it like King Charlemagne and Crown Prince Archie working hard together and their bond growing stronger? 

OR King Archie and Dowager King Charlemagne who is retired and running about causing little scandals and the such?

How to respond when someone tries to drag you into shipping or kink discourse when you don't want to

One Shots that Almost Became Multi-chapters

So I’ve written a lot of fics for Critical Role(mostly Widojest), both multi-chapter and one-shots. But some of those one shots almost became one-shots. So let’s take a walk down memory lane and see what could’ve been.

Nott the Best Detective Agency and the Case of Bren Aldric Ermendrud (gen)- This one is technically an honorable mention as I wasn’t planning on expanding on it, but debated posting it in chapters rather than a one shot. But I decided that there weren’t really a lot of good places to break it up, so I made it a one shot.

The Mighty Runaway (Widojest)- Almost tempted to continue this one, but I had no plot for it at all. Pumat Sol would’ve been a judge though.

Someone I Could Really Care For (Widojest)- This one I was SO excited to post and share the first chapter. I had poured my heart into it and thought people would love and I would go on to an entire multi-chapter for it and there would be adventures and mystery and cruel experiments. And then the fic hardly got any response or interest. Which is why the second chapter is so much shorter because I was kinda discouraged by it.

Science Fiction Double Feature (Widojest)- I had written several one shot pilots at once to see which one people would like to see as a multi-chapter. One I ended up not finishing or posting, one that I kinda hated and regretted posting and ended up orphaning(yet it was super popular), and this one. Some people liked it and I tried continuing, but it just wasn’t working for me.

If You’re Happy and You Know It (Gen)- I considering writing a chapter about sensory sensitivity and stuff, but it just never happened.

Cause Your Friends are My Friends (Widojest)- I would’ve continued this one solely for Molly/Artagan shipping.

Walking Into Spiderwebs (Widojest)- It would’ve been fun to continue this one and focus of Caleb’s relationship with each of the Mighty Nein, but I kinda knew I just didn’t have the energy for it.

If I Were A Superhero and I’m the Dagger in Your Back (Widojest)- Same category of superhero stories that I could’ve continued, but just didn’t.

Hard Work and Science (Widojest)- This was just a hard fic to write and there just wasn’t a particular reason. It was just tricky. I tried continuing it since I set up some backstory stuff, but it just wasn’t flowing right.

Caleb Claus Is Coming To Town (Widojest)- It would’ve been so fun to continue this one, but I gotta admit I was burnt out on writing around this time.

Wherever You Land (Widojest)- I was only so excited for this fic and the second chapter really wasn’t flowing which as you can tell happens with me a bit.
