I just need to rant somewhere bc omfg I’m about 2 milliseconds away from screaming at my coworker to leave me alone and stop talking to me but I feel bad bc she’s not doing anything wrong and just wants to be nice, but she is TOO EXTRAVERTED for me.
Like she’ll stand there and watch me do a job she has no involvement in, and never will, and asks me a bunch of innocently curious questions. But I’m like bro stop distracting to me, stop talking to me, stop asking me the same questions you ask every single week when you watch me do a job you don’t- you don’t need to know the answers and you don’t need to know what’s going on because it has nothing to do with you!!
And during lunch- stop asking what I brought to eat. Stop fucking asking me about my weekend and my family and my personal life. Stop fucking asking me where I got my nail polish. STOP SPEAKING TO ME!!!!
But I feel like I can’t, or shouldn’t more so, say anything because she is simply trying to be nice and friendly. She’s like 30+ years older than me, she’s a nice lady, but holy fuck I need her to stop interacting with me. I feel bad but after a while I’m just so aggravated I do everything in my power to physically avoid her.
Lowkey I hate it when any of my coworkers talk to me about my personal life. I know they’re just being nice but it literally only stresses me out to talk about my life to others. It brings me no joy to engage in small talk, it is simply a burden.
