Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others? | Is your character’s current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up? | What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?
i) The War Dancer ponders this a moment, plopping down upon the warm white sand underneath his feet and carrying on for perhaps not as far as the eye can see, but as far as it matters to him. “I’m inclined to say wisdom,” he spoke, though after much hesitation. “Not for nothing, now… nobody’s able to do anything in this world without ambition… but it takes true wisdom to reflect upon all that you do, and too much ambition… unchecked… can sometimes lead to bad things happening.”
ii) At this, Zul’Jawa almost keels over, chuckling mirthfully and wiping at his eyes. “Spirits be praised… yes. This could not be more accurate.” He shifts somewhat on the sand. “I was born on a tiny spit of sand, this crummy little rock off the Darkspear Isles, beset by rainfall and naga and sharks and what have you. Father left before I was born. Mother and greatfather raised me. All that we had was each other.”
He extends his arms out… it’s clear he’s gesturing now to the estate behind him. “They sacrificed for me. My greatfather’s passed on, now, but when I came to the Horde, I got to work, and I worked, hard. Made some right choices. Everything paid off. And what did I do with the gold I got as payment? Made sure to do right by my mother, by my family that was to come.”
He looks back upon the fledging estate of Zul’eko, as it’s been described, with pride. “I built this home for my family, for the generations to come. We started from nothing, but would you look at that… that’s something.”
iii) Zul scrunches up his nose. “Ya gotta ask me that? The mood was so pleasant beforehand, hah. Alright, lemme think on this some…”
He throws up six fingers, and starts to retract them with every item listed. “People who are gluttonous, who don’t take care of themselves. Racists. Slimes, all sorts of ‘em. Maggots. Abominations, like, the big ones that the Forsaken got… and… a sixth one…”
He thinks on this, long and hard, tapping his inscribed and ringed tusks in deep contemplation.
“Squids.” He shudders. “So… aeugh. Squidy.”

6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
A cold, unfamiliar sensation pricks up and down the fur on her spine. A smoky haze clouds her vision. Out of the corners of her eyes, she can spot the rustling of hut flaps and hear the droning murmur of a low, urgent voice. She feels as if she’s forgetting something important, something that will ruin everything if she fails to remember...
10. Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?
“At first, I hated de feelin’ of exposed skin! But dese days, I t’ink I much prefer breezier outfits, heheh. Though.. I hate wardrobe malfunctions,” she added with a soft laugh.
17. What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?
“Aww, dis brings back memories! I loved annoyin’ my parents with my little wooden flute. Dat t’ing probably ‘as more teethin’ marks than a wolf’s favorite bone.”

From Ziata's new dancing friend: #4 [Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?] and #31 [Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.]. ^^
4. [Yes. When she was first trying to convince her parents that she truly wanted to pursue dancing, she joined a competition with several other Darkspear girls. After seeing some of the bargaining going on behind the scenes, she lost a bit of faith in herself and agreed to train with the elements instead, but she never admitted this to others.]
31. The sun bleeds its last rays of light across the ocean, and the faintest perfume of the evening rains is carried to Ziata. She’s sprawled in the sand with a familiarly warm wind rider curled at her side, and the soft fabric of her clothes is rustled gently by the breeze as a childhood friend plucks away at the strings of a simple guitar.
[Thanks for the asks! C:]
What does your character value most, happiness or success?
The dancer opened her mouth as if ready to answer with a wide smile, but stammered and looked almost crestfallen after a moment’s consideration. “...I mean, happiness is all that matters in de end, of course!” She didn’t sound that convincing, however.
[To Ziata, happiness means following her heart’s desires as a performer, while success means to put her skills to use in saving others’ lives. She’s been thinking about this a lot, especially because important figures in her past have been pressuring her to do something more meaningful in her life lately, and old war buddies have been asking if she plans on heading to the Broken Isles with them.]

[Answering this IC since I already did the OOC version!]
1. Pretty skies; the gorgeous streaks of pink and orange that blend into the morning, the crystal clear of day, the dusky twilight hues, the crisp stars shining in the night.
2. This should go without saying, but dancing! Even better if it’s with friends.
3. Slowly waking up to the crisp chirps and warbles of the birds.
4. The distant smell of delicious food being carried by a gentle breeze.
5. Things that are prettier for their imperfections- kintsugi, sea shells with holes weathered through them, the sun bouncing off of chaotic waves!

Does your character remember names or faces easier? | Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not? | Which does your character idealize most: happiness or success?
Does your character remember names or faces easier?
Faces. Always faces. Ki’razi is adept at hearing a name and remembering it, but she’s not particularly skilled at linking the name and face together unless it’s someone she’s going to be in constant contact with.
Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?
The only one who might have that tendency is Jib’yu. Coming from a prominent Gurubashi family, she would have grown up around things like that. That said, she would rather keep a low profile for now, just to keep herself protected. Taerzah and Khu’lulli both have pasts that involved them practically losing everything, so they don’t worry about material things. And Ki’razi prefers traveling light, something you can’t do with a lot of material possessions.
Which does your character idealize most: happiness or success?
An interesting question since it requires determining what success is to each of them individually. For Taerzah, success -is- to be happy: happy with who she is, happy with her life. Khu’lulli feels like she has her success, now she’s working on happiness. Ki’razi idealizes nothing, feeling she simply exists to serve - be it by healing or protecting. Jib’yu’s mind is only on happiness and if she’ll ever find it.
Thanks for the asks!
I agree with Taer! ^^

*waves!* Troll Asks: 1, 6, 7
1. Is there a meaning behind your OC’s name in Zandali?
Zanahlaji has had the same name all his life, and he doesn’t know if there is a meaning to it or not yet. Zan could be called Zanahlaji Jr. though if it wouldn’t make him upset, since he was named after his father that he knows little about.
6. Describe your OCs voice? Do they have the troll accent? What about their pitch and rhythm of speech?
The accent Zan has when speaking is definitely noticeable, although he does speak clearly enough to avoid confusion. The tone and rhythm of Zan’s speaking is deep and slow paced, similar to Vol’jin’s.
7.Describe your OCs clothing. Do they dress to impress? Do they wear pieces of armor or animal skins/hides? Do they have a lot of jewelry?
Zan does not care for impressing people with his fashion sense.Zanahlaji’s clothing when he is relaxing at home, tinkering, or on vacation’s is very simple and loose. Usually this consists of loose brown pants or blue shorts, and when he does rarely decide to even wear a shirt it is probably going to be an oil stained tank top or something light. Zanahlaji has simple jewelry made out of beads that he will sometimes wear, as well as some necklaces. Most of it is strung around the entrance to his home.
