3. I hope they allow Penelope the grace to feel upset about it, because she is a virgin and would be in shock 😳 when she learns about his sexual exploits.

4. If they have Penelope brush it off as no big deal or get excited about it or not tell her, I think that wouldn’t be in character for Penelope/Polin.

5. I hope Penelope has some of her own sexual exploits with men she is interested in. Fair is fair.

6. Otherwise it’s just gratuitous sex for Colin and a form of body shaming of Penelope, because the two sex workers will be hot 🥵 thin women and the male lead MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE with hot 🥵 women to be believable 🙄!!!

7. I do think you will get Polin “making love” so the “romance” box done ☑️ and it will be different than the gratuitous threesome with the two sex workers.

8. I think the mirror scene will be about Penelope wanting to try to please Colin’s sexual needs, aka his voyeurism fetish. I don’t think it will be like BookPolin and Penelope’s realization she is beautiful and desirable.

8. I think the carriage scene, because of spoilers saying he uses his fingers on her, will check off the Penelope’s desirability box done ☑️.

9. I think the furniture breaking scene is either part of the mirror scene or an epilogue of married Polin trying for a son (aka Lord Featherington plot and has rom-com vibes).

• I hate the way they have changed Colin so much. I honestly don't think that it will be mentioned again after it happens especially to Penelope.

• I think the fact the none of the women in the show are allowed to be experienced while all of the male leads are rakes is really kind of gross.

• If the plan for Colin was to be experienced in the show they could have shown sex scenes in the show prior to his seasons much like Anthony.

• I would rather the women be performing oral on one another than Colin giving oral and having the other sex worker ride him. From what we know the next time he visits the brothel they try and get him to participate by them making out which leads me to almost believe that he was enjoying them performing sex acts on each other in the previous brothel

scene.

• I feel like if we see Colin do everything from having sex to using his fingers to oral it would make thePolin scenes less special almost diminishing what happens between them.

Overall I think the point is to make us, the viewer, uncomfortable with Colin. And doing it so gratuitously is meant to shock 😳, cause drama, cause media hype for the season, and put more of a wedge between Polin.

Ultimately then, eventually, after the 🎢, we will then be led to believe that 22 year old Colin will fall in love and become feral over 19 year old full figured virgin Penelope because they are intellectually bonded. And he’s the “man” and will teach her everything he wants her to know (fetishes included).

It’s a leap…

We shall see how well it’s executed.

I almost think these spoilers were intended to be leaked, so that the most fervent fan could justify the behavior, because it’s “Colin”.

Underrated Bridgerton characters that we should talk about more: Albion Finch. You just know that he thinks Phillpa is the sun, even if she's the type of sister that mocks people like a preschooler. In his mind that just makes her cute. We need a whole fanfiction of a day in the life of this man, hanging out with his inlaws, casually overhearing Portia's plotting and deciding that he's much too dense to get involved, so might as well get some more cheese, watching the Bridgerton guy buzz around Penelope, eating more cheese.

The Colin needs to be humbled discourse is wild, like did we not watch the same 2 seasons? That man nearly locked himself into one of the most toxic marriages in the series just because he thought she was the first person to ever take him seriously, had a flop Eat Pray Love trip around Greece where he just got high, stared at grass and avoided making eye contact with women, and then came back to England at 22 years old, with no money and no prospects, already a burden to his parents, and frightened. He’s HUMBLED.

Not to mention he cannot have a conversation with Penelope without revealing his biggest insecurities to her, like that he feels aimless and purposeless, that his self confidence was in the tank after Marina and it changed how he saw himself, that he had to practice the speech he made to cousin Jack because he was nervous, and even in the midst of Penelope being angry at him he couldn’t help but let it slip that his own family barely kept in contact with him when he was abroad. If anything Penelope being mad at him might be what breaks him completely. My guy is a walking cry for help (and I love him for it.)
