Maybe because it was a dick move to get up and shuffle seats because you didn’t want to sit next to the police. In what?  Protest? 

That’s right, let’s treat our community police like garbage for the actions of a -select fucking few- officers that aren’t even in the same STATE as you are. 

But you would expect them to show up at your house after a burglary.  Or an accident?  Or to protect you from an abusive spouse?  Right?  That’s their -job-, isn’t it?

Police aren’t the problem. Humanity is. Every human has the capacity to be an asshole; to make decisions that aren’t right –  to BE wrong.  

I don’t agree with what the select police officer’s are doing; how they’re judging on appearance or how trigger happy they are. But there are GOOD men and women serving who think what’s happening is just as crazy and shitty as we do.

Try not to burn too many bridges.

With the new loot system, everyone in a 5-player group can get the mount from Alani now, so I figured it’s time to do a giveaway!

Look at them in all their glittering glory. That’s 10+ hours of farming just for this giveaway.

This will be for ALLIANCE only, so you’ll need a level 90+ Alliance character SOMEWHERE. Sorry my Horde friends. If you have room on a server, you’re more than welcome to make a Demon Hunter to join in if you win, though!

Please keep in mind that since it will be 4 people receiving the mount at once, winners will need to be patient while we coordinate a time for everyone to be online.

Life Update

Cause I’ve had some questions on if I’ve been alright since my last one.

Yes, I’m alright. Honestly, taking the step away, especially from XIV has actually done wonders for me mentally. I’m not stressing about little things, like am I going to be judged for my ‘gearing choices’ or what I want to run for glamour or from a couple of people why I’d rather go RP than hit hours of attempted learning to something.

Taking the step back and not constantly beating my head in on how to make Skar interesting enough to find decent RP isn’t gnawing at my mind, or clawing into me. 

I had also decided that it was time to quit trying to chase people and trying to get things done. It was tasking, the times spent waiting and waiting. And I know that I’m guilty of doing so to others, making them wait because I had to wait to figure out if I was needed for things. [long story that doesn’t need to be drawn out]

So, lots of new turnings over, and kind of just... finding myself. Went to a stress free environment, and where my creativity is useful. Mainly doing character builds and making out little ideas..

Man I can character build quick stories all day.

Long story short: I’m not FULLY okay, or back to where I was a long time ago. I’ve made progress, and I’m not wanting to stop it. Those who know how to reach me, know I’m always willing to lend an ear or help them. Just because I’m stressed about one thing does not mean I’m not available to hear your problems... sometimes helping you with yours draws me away from the pain of my own issues, and believe me, it really REALLY helps me.

With the exception of tomorrow evening, I won’t be going onto FF XIV for a while. I need some time away from it. Both to breathe and try to restore myself to how I felt before. 

I’ll probably be back in time for the next major patch, that being 3.4 but even with Palace being added [which I’ve not even touched, great night it’s been cause I’m fighting to hold it together] I don’t think it’s something to hold me in.. too much turmoil and drama, and... just, I need out.

I’ll have discord up, as usual, but... probably about it, might check this sometimes for a few things or another.

Republicans support conversion therapy in their most anti-LGBT platform ever
Republican delegates neared approval of a platform that is staunchly conservative in matters of gender, homosexuality and marriage.

The Republican Party is about to approve its 2016 platform, and their proposed draft takes a stronger stance against LGBT rights than ever before. 

Among many other backwards views on social issues, the platform says:

  • Marriage equality should be overturned with a constitutional amendment
  • Judges to be appointed (ahem, SCOTUS) should be advocates for “traditional family values”
  • Parents should have the right to put their LGBT children through conversion therapy
  • States should be able to dictate which bathrooms trans people use
  • Kids who have one mom and one dad are less likely to be drug addicts or “otherwise damaged” 
  • Religious principles should guide lawmaking: “man-made law must be consistent with God-given, natural rights”

Please do not vote Republican in this election. This platform could literally mean life or death for LGBT youth, transgender people, and so many others who will be targeted – strategically and legally – for being who they are.

When you know it’s time to give up Overwatch for the night

One-you always get some 10 year old trying to call people out for dumb shit when they never even hit fire once. Then gets mad when you mop their face in with the character they chose

Two-when someone calls your friend out for being ‘bad’ at a character in Quick Play like we’re supposed to play with infinite knowledge of how to do all the things and insta-carry and yet said person never hits the board despite ‘I’m all gold medals’ speech

Three-You try one random group hoping it’d be decent... and your healer switches and you’re left with no heals... On ATTACK

WHY THE FUCK DID THE CASTER/HEALER NOT COME WITH TATTOOS?!

Also, out of all 4, I swear only the ranged and caster/healer really came out to be amazing. The tank/dragoon one needs better cape dynamics. And the regular melee one is... not as amazing as that body makes it look. The skirts of it look like taped on crap.
