I KNOW THAT FOR SURE.“ and he speaks with confidence, because he had heard her sing since the pussycats formed as a band, he had sang with her and he knows well, that she is anything but boring. “You’ll get something in no time, and I will be first in line for an autograph.” he teases, a charming smile on the ginger’s lips.
It’s a welcoming visit. One he doesn’t mind, that is away from the troubles of Riverdale. “I wanted to thank you, Jo, for singing at my dad’s funeral. It meant a lot.” And the smile remains, even if it falters briefly, even if for a second. “He would’ve loved it. Truly, if you need help, just let me know. I owe you.”
“Well if that’s the case, I’d better not see anyone else first in line.” A hand runs through her hair in the most JOSIE/DIVA way as possible, her free palm on her hip as she shrugged her shoulders, biting her lip as he smiled. It was always one of her favorite qualities about the ginger teen.
“How could I NOT be there?” Her on fleek brows furrow, ebony hand reaching up to cup his cheek. “After all you have done for me? How you stood by me when I thought I had no one? You showed me so much..taught me so much. You do not owe me a thing, Andrews. Your dad was the best.”

“Hey, Josie.“ he doesn’t know how long it has been since he saw her. his mind doesn’t count his dad’s funeral because his mind wasn’t in the right place back then. she sang and it was beautiful but he barely heard half of it. Not sure why she would be back in Riverdale, he is glad to see her and he isn’t shy to push himself forward and offer a hug.
“Ronnie said you were in New York with Katy.“ Someone he only knew by a casual video call once and from Ronnie’s tales from the big apple. “You made it where you wanted it, right? I’m glad you did.“ Because if someone deserved the spotlight it was Josie. And he knew, that Riverdale was way too small for her.
There was a surprise. Josie was hoping she’d be able to slip into Riverdale unnoticed, but of course..someone had to see her. At least it was Archie; he’d understand her visit wasn’t going to last. Glossed lips form a smile, returning the hug he’d offer up with pursed lips.
“Yeah. New York is great. I’ve been doing more gigs and open mics. I even got to perform for the execs at Cabot Records, though they turned me down. I guess..my sound’s still BORING for the mainstream crowd. But I do put on good shows when I get them?”

Josie could only imagine how things would be if she were there: and luckily she got out. The shows were wonderful, crowds were accepting of her sound. This was the life Josephine McCoy would hope to live after school. There was nothing else she’d rather be doing right now.
