Finally I went and compiled some of the best tags from this post.

Happy Holidays folks, this post is an absolute joy for me to see going around.

Juruloka and Thresh stumbled in through the door, both of their coats drenched and stiff from the cold. They were snickering giddily between themselves, and practically falling over one another as they made their way into the warmth of the house. 

They’d had a comfortably lazy start that morning, as neither of them were headed into the Institute. After a sizeable late breakfast (courtesy of Arksoo), they had headed out for the day.

They’d started with one of Piltover’s museums. Thresh had been fascinated by how… accurate the displays actually were, for once. Jur had been fascinated that he’d been alive long enough to know this for a fact. And they’d gotten several of the museum’s docents curious about reaching beyond the veil of life and death for research purposes.

Next had been lunch - a rather upscale one, at that. Jur had landed the reservation, but when Thresh asked how, she only offered him a devious, toothy grin. (He ended up not ordering anything - the portions were huge, and he easily got away with stealing bites off of her plates while she wasn’t looking.)

As they were strolling though one of the citystate’s many parks, the snow came. It was gentle, and crunched delightfully beneath their footsteps as it began to coat the ground. 

And then Thresh pelted his wife with an impromptu snowball.

The resulting ‘battle’ went on for several hours, neither noticing the snowfall getting heavier. By the time either of them noticed, the sun was beginning to set. They hurried home, huddled together against the cold and the thick sleet pouring down, giddy from the snowball fight.

Now, here they were, collapsed in front of the fireplace, the pair of them still grinning to themselves. Hot chocolate would have been fantastic, but neither of them wanted to move. Eventually, they drifted off to sleep, not even bothering to move to one of the nearby sofas.

Thresh had once called himself “the luckiest in all Runeterra” for having found Juruloka and becoming a part of her life. And how true that was, he thought once again, in his final moments before dozing off at her side.
