hi! another hurt/comfort fic because my brain is rotting. I completely made up the creatures in this one lmao forgive me. all I know is I vaguely remember reading/seeing something about creatures with deadly venom on their claws so I just took that and ran with it.

ALSO I'd like to ask a quick favour!! if you could let me know if you are more inclined to click "read more" on fics with or without gifs I'd really appreciate it :) personally, I click on ones with gifs more but I prefer not using them on my own fics. but that's just me!

Hurt/Comfort, no usage of y/n (I try not to use it in any of my fics), i don't thing I even used pronouns I this one reader is gender neutral because that's what I imagined when writing it :)

To be fair, it wasn't entirely my fault. I had been caught off guard by some weird creature that, to be honest, looked like an enormous, armored lizard darting through the trees. It hadn't been after us, as seconds before a smaller, but equally as frightening, lizard had skittered past us and through the undergrowth.

  • First things first I will say it once I will say it 100 time this boy is for sure touch starved after his mother's death. Donโ€™t get me wrong Orlando loves his son but there was a lack of like loving physical affection.
  • That being said you is always touching you in some way. Not in an inappropriate way but like holding your hand or has an arm around your waist/shoulders just so he can feel more grounded.
  • He gets really flustered when you give him kisses like on the cheek or nose...the boy is down for the count.
  • Will buy you flowers all the time. He gets extra points because he studies the language of flowers so eachย bouquet has its own message that he sits down and explains to you.
  • He does that thing when you are doing your own thing he will walk up behind you wrap his arms around your waist and nuzzle his head into you neck giving you little kisses.
  • He will buy you things you actually need and makes notes of things you are interested in to go back to later as opposed to buying you things you will never use.
  • This boy takes after his father and is a true gentleman opening doors, pulling out chairs, and defending you if necessary.
  • ย Conrad was taught consent and respects your wishes if you tell him you donโ€™t want to be touched one day he is completely hands of respecting your boundaries.ย 
  • He loves it when you play with his hair.ย 
  • You often find your during warmer months sitting outside with your back against a tree reading out loud with Conradโ€™s head in your lap running your fingers through his hair.
