Yes! I’m so happy to hear someone share my opinion. Sorry if this is old news and much discussed here already but I’ve been absent from fandom for awhile. Please tell me more about your thoughts on BC and his closetedness.
Well it’s not something I talk about a lot (some of the people who feel differently are 100% sure they’re right even though none of us can know, and they get fighty). But yeah I’ve thought this since before the sham, I personally think he realized it at the end of Olivia and has never gone back (although hides it from even casual friends). What other people see as attraction to women I don’t remotely see at all, and I do see it with many men. I think he’s too ambitious and terrified to *ever* choose to come out. (And I think it’s possible that the blackmail that created his current absurd situation involved images of at least kissing a man—but could have been many other unrelated things.)

Ben’s sweet and generous in an almost childlike way. He’s very easy to screw over. I could take advantage of him playing cards. Actually, I must take advantage of him playing cards. But as an actor, he’s one of the very few people I’ve worked with whose taste I don’t question. Even subconsciously I’m not going, ‘Well, I wouldn’t have done it like that.’ He commits.
