I will still gladly ask that people give me good reasons why Elain isn’t good enough for Lucien or Azriel. And to do so without bringing Feyre or the mating bond into it.

The mating bond especially because that is something she didn’t ask for, want, or have any control over. You can’t hold something against her that she didn’t even get a say in. 

And that does mean the way she’s treating lucien at the moment, because it’s tied strongly to the whole situation.
