Nobody could ever anticipate what happened today. Nobody could anticipate the overpowering power of such a minuscule plant and nobody could anticipate how the body of the Marksman could feel against your own.

But you experienced just that.

Rewinding back two hours ago, the two of you were walking through the wild terrain of Felucia. Primitive plants surrounded you both, creatures chittering and chirping away hidden within the trees meanwhile the two of you walked on in silence.

There was no hiding the fact you and Crosshair didn’t see eye to eye a good majority of the time but you couldn’t thank him enough for the silent treatment he was giving you. You would rather walk in silence with him, appreciating the planet around you rather than listening to him complain about, most specifically, you.

He always had the snide comments bubbling up inside him when you was near; always critiquing the way you would either bandage up Wrecker or help Tech with some technical device.

Most recently was when you was sparring with Hunter outside the ship, practicing your skills when Crosshair sat on the ramp and sniggered every time you literally went flying on your butt.

You glared up at him but controlled your temper, putting up an invisible wall to ignore him but it didn’t help as you heard him tut at you as once again, fall.

“Shut it Crosshair.” Hunter chided his brother, shooting him a disappointing look before reaching a hand to you that you gladly accepted as he hauled you up.

“Come on Hunter... she will never be up to our standard.” Crosshair stood, folding his arms over his chest as he twirled the toothpick between his lips around with his tongue, eyes gazing down at Hunter and you.

“Believe it or not Crosshair,” you spat, brushing off the dirt from your pants, “I’m not a clone nor am I an enhanced one for that matter. I wasn’t trained as a child to be skilled in combat so it’s safe to say I can figure it out on my own wether or not I’ll be up to your ‘standard’ as you put it,” you used air quotations as you spoke, eyes glaring, “so I don’t need or want your comments.”

Crosshair could only smirk at your small outburst but his smirk soon dropped as you turned, Hunter following after you but with his hand remaining on your lower back. “Whatever.” He muttered before making his way into the Marauder.

You didn’t really know how or why you ended up with Crosshair as you walked towards a supposedly abandoned settlement, making sure no separatists were around claiming it as a new base. But, Hunter thought it would be a good idea for you to spend some time together, maybe clear the air but that was most unlikely as you were both too stubborn to talk to one another.

You both came into a clearing and as Tech had suggested, it was abandoned. Small huts surrounded the perimeter of the camp, a large cabin made out of wooden panels sat in the centre. Carts were upturned, old fruit having slightly rotted littered around.

You scanned to just the right of you, a small patch of flowers catching your attention. Vibrant blue with a yellow core, swaying in the light breeze. You found yourself captivated but snapped out of it once Crosshair brushed past you, purposely nudging your shoulder. You glared at the back of his head and got back to it.

Downtime with Clone Force 99 was always a luxurious feeling; especially when you land on a planet as beautiful as Naboo where the ship was currently parked overlooking multiple thunderous waterfalls.

You were outside, taking in the smell of the air, sound of the animals and the touch of the grass with your bare feet when you heard someone call out your name. Certain that it was Wrecker, you turned around only to see nobody there and the Marauder door sealed shut. You make your way around the side of the ship, searching for the bulking clone but to no avail until….

“BOO!”

You shrieked out loud, tossing your hands towards your face to silence yourself as you stumbled back, glaring disgustingly towards Wrecker as he doubled over in laughter, slapping his knee.

“What the hell are you doing?” You snapped, your heart rate slowly decreasing as you composed yourself.

“You should’ve seen your face!” Wrecker ignored your question, continuing his laughter that drawed the attention of the others who came out to see what’s going on.

“Did someone get a fright?” Crosshair snickered as he remained on the stairs of the ship, glancing down at you as you breathlessly ran a hand through your hair in frustration, shaking your head in disbelief.

“A fright? It feels like he gave me a heart attack!” You sighed with a small chuckle after calming yourself down.

Tech sauntered over to you and took a hold of your wrist and examined the device on your arm. “Negative. You are not having a heart attack.” He states as he reads the monitor and you look at Hunter who rolled his eyes at his brother's lack of understanding.

“It’s a saying Tech, I know I'm not really having a heart attack.” You laugh softly as he looks up at you from behind his goggles and arches an eyebrow.

“Why would that be used as a saying?”

“Just… never mind.” You rolled your eyes this time as Tech let go of your wrist and returned to tapping away on his datapad.

You got on well with all of the boys but a tad less with Tech. You liked each other by all means but he wasn’t exactly as chatty with you compared with the others. If he was talking to you however, it’ll always be serious and never something easy going like you did with Echo and Hunter for example. Also, he clearly didn’t understand your humour most of the time.

“It’s about time I got to scare someone good! Ha!” Wrecker had wiped a tear from his eye after his laughter finally subsided, holding his hands on his waist triumphantly.

You rolled your eyes again. “Next time, pick someone else di’kut.” You push his arm playfully even though he didn’t budge.

“Like who? Tech? He never gets scared or panics.” Wrecker states, looking to his brother who kept his head down in his datapad.

“That’s true time be fair,” Echo chimes in from behind you, “never seen his heart rate raise more than 80 in the months I’ve known him.”

Heh, now that was interesting. Well, sort of. Tech was definitely the most composed of the bunch and you had never seen him once flustered which was quite impressive. It made you think of what it would take to get his heart rate going…

Hunter and Tech had dispersed whilst you thought of this and then a smirk grew on your face as the remaining Clones, Echo, Wrecker and Crosshair we’re still nearby when a fun idea pops into your mind.

“Hey guys, how about a little challenge between the four of us?” You caught their attention, all of them silencing their own conversation to focus back on you.

“Oh yeah? What of?” Crosshair was always up for a challenge, as was Wrecker. Echo had said previously that he had been pretty bored lately so seemed interested in whatever challenge you wanted to set out.

Glancing around secretly, you lean forward and beckon them all to huddle with you as you giggle excitedly at what you had brewing up in your mind.

Wrecker was already bounding towards you, slinging his large arm over your shoulder meanwhile Crosshair reluctantly pulled his toothpick out of his mouth and onto the ground and joined forces with Echo trailing into the circle too.

“I was thinking we each have a little challenge amongst ourselves to try and increase Tech’s heart rate. Winner…” you think of a good prize and then it clicked in your mind of a chore each of the boys all hated doing the most, “doesn’t get to do the washing of our clothes for a whole month.”

“OH YOU’RE ON!” Wrecker already threw his hand in, ready to commit to the challenge whilst Crosshair smirked and nodded.

“You’re on doll.” He chuckled with a low tone, sizing up his master plan in his mind already and placed his hand in the middle on top of Wreckers whilst Echo had also nodded that he may as well join in. He hated the stench of doing the washing especially when it came to Wrecker’s washing. With the bet on, you all went about your separate ways to come up with ways to get the Goggled clones heart racing.
