I’m so glad I found your blog! I kinda made up my own version of tone because I couldn’t find anything on him and I only recently found out he’s supposed to be blind lol, so I have a lot of headcanons for undertone.
I'm happy you liked him that much to make your own version! What headcanons do you have? I'd love to hear them!
You’re the creator or undertone!? Hes my favourite sans how have I not found you sooner
Hi! Yes, Undertone's my AU! I started it back when I was in early high school, I think. Not many people find me because I haven't been very vocal about Undertone. I lost my passion for drawing and became a writer instead.
I still like Undertone, but it's mostly a text-based AU in its current state. I currently have a WIP fanfiction on Ao3 (Archive of Our Own) where Undertone gets continued in a second, longer part. My username's Articray200.
I'm so happy to see a fan, even after the several years Undertone's flew under the radar! I have a few other projects I've been doing, but I haven't given up on that fanfic, and I still plan on continuing it.
Thank you so much for reaching out!
The Milt Kahl Head Swaggle (Source: Cartoon Brew)
I love it when you can pick up an animator’s quirks.
I’ve read in old interviews with Milt Khal’s fellow animators that he did the swaggle to purposefully show off. Moving the head in 3-d space is an exceptionally hard thing to do but Khal upped the level of difficulty to a place many animators wouldn’t go. Not only are they all doing the swaggle you’ll notice they are all TALKING while they are doing it. This is back in the days where you had to use a timing sheet to pace your animation and a head swaggle doesn’t work if its too slow or too fast so he had to figure out the right speed so it looked natural while the character finishes what they have to say while not interfering with the distinct mouth shapes. Not only did Khal do it without any shifting weight problems or timing issues he would often do it while moving the rest of the body. This isn’t his signature move just because he was good at it.This is his signature move because he was one of the only people skilled enough to DO IT AT ALL.
Milt Khal was a MASTER.
God, I can’t express to you how fucking DELIGHTED I become whenever they Milt Khal Head Swaggle Post graces my dash with its presence again.
Welp, finally got back into drawing. It’s been a pretty nice 3 years since I first joined the Undertale fandom. Got back into writing, got back into the amazing artwork, and I’m finally able to move on painful old memories.
Now all I have to do is keep trying to improve.

I forgot to post this Lancer drawing, whoops!

I have one (1) fear
Toby took the high road there instead of picking low-hanging fruit and I think we all thank him for it.
I grab my violin and sit in front of a patch of golden flowers, playing a tune I cherished so much. I liked to call it “Home” because of its comforting feeling. It was like a blanket you never wanted to let go of… just something you could hold close and call dear. The days were getting increasingly lonely, and my dependence on music was growing ever still.
The tune I played in front of the wilting flowers caused them to jump back to life stronger than before. This was the gift of music to all monsters—one chord, one word, one note could enrich, purify, and bless life. I look towards the ceiling of the Throne Room and try to piece together a new song to play… but I could think of none.
He’s a little teapot, short and stout.
This was my first thought when I saw Lancer’s idle pose, so I thought I’d share in the best way I could.
I mean.
Look at this boy.
I almost wonder if it was intentional.
when it comes to complimenting someone on talent, drawings, singing, any talent. dont self doubt yourself while doing so. you may not mean it or know it, but it really puts us down more than brings us up…
^^^^ Seriously 100% yes.
May I ask how exactly it puts you down? They are complimenting you in the end.
ehmm…allow me to explain . yes, im glad they like my art, im sure anyone would. this puts us down because they are wanting to destroy what they made because of us. like, because we draw good, they want to rid of anything they worked on. stop doing what they enjoy , and quit, all because we do something good or in their eyes “better” . it doesn’t make us feel good to see people stop or quit what they use to enjoy because of us. some people do it just fir attention and others do it because they actually feel that way. why would we feel happy about that?
To be basic-
We’re not gonna be happy to be the cause of someone feeling awful about their own art.
Who in the goddamned would ever-
reblogging this here for more relevance– but OP has stated it well already But, please be proud of your art. It’s okay to look up to someone for their art. It’s not okay to feel like you’ll never get to their level. You WILL get to their level, and the first step is to be proud of what you create. Confidence comes with PRACTICE. Just please keep on drawing.

Fandom: Undertale (Video Game) Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: Major Character Death Characters: Papyrus (Undertale), Sans (Undertale), Asgore Dreemurr, Original Undertale Character(s) Additional Tags: Undertale AU, UnderTone, Tone!Sans - Freeform, Tone!Asgore, Tone!Papyrus, Undertale Genocide Route Summary:
Magic fills the Underground with sound and music that couldn't be heard anywhere else. While the humans lived out their days above ground, the monsters stayed below, banded together, and played their hearts out. The Sans of this world, blind since creation, finds himself and his brother in a crisis they never would've expected.
Music is disappearing, and it's only a matter of time before the entire world falls silent.
I’ve been busy revising the chapters to my Undertone story to better reflect my current writing quality. I think I’ve gotten a hell of a lot better. This is where I’ll be putting the improved version of Undertone from now on, so feel free to check it out whenever you get the chance. Major differences happen starting with the second chapter.
@articray200 I love your blog, stories, art, and your AU, I hope you like this little doodle I drew for you!
“Howdy!” Asgore’s voice was all too comforting.
“h-hey, king-”
“King’s too formal… please, just call me Asgore.”
Whereas Undyne looked up to Papyrus, I looked up to Asgore. Asgore had been through arguably the most painful experience out of us all, and he was still able to smile at the end of the day. Violins were the instrument of the day… and every day. Asgore just really liked violins, and after months of speaking with him, I understood why: they were just comforting to hear. In fact, Asgore’s playing almost made me forget about the crisis.
What. It's been ages, what is--
How long has it been since that name's been said--"Undertone"?
I should probably get back to finishing that story...
lmao on the edinburgh zoo site it says “there is a daily penguin parade at 14:15 but it may be cancelled last minute as it is a voulntary parade, we do not coax the penguins with food, and they may not want to go out” lmao anarchopenguinism
this is the cutest goddamn thing i’ve ever heard
I saw the penguin parade. It was a very slow parade, because the pingüinos take their sweet time and aren’t very fast walkers to begin with.
can I volunteer to be a penguin
I feel like the world needs to know the context of the edinburgh zoo penguin parade, becausr I’ve been going there my entire life and I only found out about this the other year.
So a while back (I can’t remember exactly when but I think it was some time around the 40s/50s), a bunch of penguins escaped. A keeper left the gate open so a bunch of penguins just… followed them. And the people loved it. Look at these adorable birds outside their cage just following that guy around! So they get all the penguins back inside and realise that none of them really ran off, they just followed the keeper and went back inside and crowd thought it was amazing, so why not make it a regular thing? Get enough people there that if one of them goes to make a run for it (which at least one has in the past), they can’t get past the people, and let the ones who want outside have a little wander. So every day, they get a crowd, they open the gate, and whatever penguins want to get out can go, waddle about, squawk at people, and then hop back inside.
Also, one of those penguins is Brigadier Sir Nils Olaf III, Colonel-in-cheif of the Norwegian King’s Guard. This isn’t really related to the parade at all, I just love the fact that there’s a penguin in the Norwegian army
Reblogging with Brigadier Sir Nils Olaf III inspecting his troops.
Carry on …
I love everything about this post.
If I fail to reblog this it is because I am dead.
HM.
The one thing sadder is simply sitting idle and lamenting over it. It's an empty void that could be filled with something else dear. Constant progress, I say.
