there's no greater betrayal than finally starting to read a book you've had sitting for months on your shelf or your desk or your nightstand and then finding out it's bad. like. i gave you a fucking home.

A little update since it's been a while and some folks may not know my current situation. I'm no longer at my aunt's house helping her (since February), so I'm back to being homeless and living out of my vehicle. I'm still on the wait-list for housing. It's been almost a full year since this all began. It's been tough to dig myself out of this hole. I was denied on my disability case, so I'm in the appeal stage right now. I know that's going to be a long road ahead. I had to have a procedure done on my toe in April, so that's in the process of healing. It feels like I'm back to square one in a lot of ways. I'm embarrassed to keep asking, but I could still use a little help on funds for basic needs if anyone out there can please spare it.
