I must be the last person in this fandom to realize this but holy shit. They literally used the same tagline for season 4. They straight-up stole the tagline of a movie famous for its alternate endings.
They’re trolling the world. No wonder this screening was so early. No wonder they’re chilling right now as spoilers leak left and right, after they kept setlock under such close watch, after they had some reviews with the minorest of spoilers deleted, after Sue put entire countries in the basement. They want those spoilers out here right now.
The next three days are going to be incredible.
THIS IS INCREDIBLE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE CERTAIN IN MY LIFE!!
GUYS!
In the Clue Movie, there were three endings: Ending A, B and C, where C was the REAL ending.
1) BFI SCREENING today
2) Screening in Cardiff on Thursday
3) Worldwide Premiere on BBC One/PBS Masterpiece on Sunday
So the BFI screening today was our Ending A, tomorrow’s showing in Cardiff is our Ending B, and the premiere on Sunday is our Ending C.
THREE DIFFERENT VIEWINGS, THREE DIFFERENT ENDINGS, WITH THE ONE SHOWN ON BBC ONE/PBS BEING THE REAL ENDING.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
OH!!!! THIS IS GOOD.

The conversation that Sherlock and Karim are having in this scene is amazing and I didn’t pick up on it until tonight. Sherlock: Mr. Baker, that completes the set. Karim: No, it does not. Sherlock: Well, who else am I missing? Karim: Master Bun, it’s not a set without him. How many more times Mr.Sherlock? Mr.Baker is Sherlock, and Master Bun is John. This is a conversation about how they aren’t complete without each other. Karim saying ‘How many more times?’ is directly referencing all of the times they’ve been separated. How many more times before they get it right and figure out they are a pair and need to stay together?
They are playing Happy Families here:

The conversation in that scene continues:
Hmm, maybe it’s because I’m not familiar with the concept.
What concept?
Happy families. This is foreshadowing what we will learn in TFP about Sherlock and Mycroft.
the games always reflect the theme of the series. cluedo (it was the victim), operation (can’t handle a broken heart), and now happy families (not familiar with the concept)
Adorable little assholes
This puts absolutely nothing into perspective, but that’s not a Bad Thing.

“If you could play any character from a book, who would it be?” Well, I’m tired of saying this, because I say it to every interviewer and still no one’s rung up. I want to play Jacob Marley in A Christmas Carol.

“It’s not a zombie film,” he says in his trailer in the middle of marshy saltbush territory an hour north of Adelaide, after a hard day’s filming that has left him physically and emotionally rather wrung out. “I wouldn’t have come here to do a zombie film.”
“I said to Ben and Yolanda a long time ago that I didn’t think the world needed another zombie film,” Freeman says. “I’ve enjoyed zombie films – f—ing hell, I’ve even been in one [Shaun of the Dead], fleetingly – but I don’t need to make another one.”
What did attract him was the environmentalist theme behind the genre surface. “There’s an element of us reaping what we sow with this,” he says. “What we’re doing to our planet has somehow – no one quite knows how – caused this to happen.
"It’s not tub-thumpy, though, it’s not preachy. But it’s not all people doing that …” he sticks his arms in front of him, in classic zombie-walk pose. “To me, this is a film for grown-ups,” he says.
And then, sotto voce: “And yes, I know zombie films can be for grown-ups.”
