After Jeffrey Dahmer had died, his body was cremated at his request, except for his brain, which his mother requested that they preserve and study in hopes of finding out if biological factors were behind her son’s behavior. In December of 1995, Jeffrey’s brain was finally cremated at a judge’s command.
Nina Arsenalt, a Canadian performer, briefly dated notorious Canadian killer Luka Magnotta over a decade ago. She would describe him as a ‘’narcissist’’ and ‘’pathological liar’’, although expressed surprise that Luka turned out to be a killer.
‘’My impression was that Luka was a person who had never known love. That love just didn’t exist for him. He’d intimated to me that he had been sexually molested as a child and kind of in a short period of time after I started to hang out with him, I saw him replaying out that childhood trauma inside the sex business where he worked as an escort and a stripper.’’
She also revealed that Luka would hit himself repeatedly in the head and was prone to extreme anger.
‘’When his temper went off, it was terrifying. Just the rage within that man…and it was terrifying. But also kind of felt like it was coming from this place of a very, very angry child.’’
Luka Magnotta pictured with a puppy that was later found dead in the garbage, alongside the dismembered body parts of his victim Jun Lin. Luka had filmed himself brutally stabbing and dismembering Jun, and getting the puppy as shown in the photo to chew on his body.
Serial killer Richard Chase, who killed a total of six people in a span of one month across Sacramento, California, used to place oranges on his head because he believed he could absorb vitamin C through his brain that way. Richard was always anxious about his health and initially injected himself with rabbit blood before moving on to humans.

The Ice Cream Killer
Estibaliz Carranza murdered her ex-husband, Holger Holz, in 2008 after he refused to move out of her home after their divorce. She shot him in the head three times while he was working on his computer. Estibaliz then dismembered her ex-husband’s body with a chainsaw, put the body parts in a freezer and later embedded them in concrete. She hid the parts in the storage cellar of her ice cream parlor in Vienna, Austria. Two years later, she did the same thing to her new lover, Manfred Hinterberger. The two got into an argument because Estibaliz believed he was cheating on her. She shot him with the same gun she shot her ex-husband with and disposed Manfred’s body in the same way. Maintenance workers stumbled upon the remains of both men in 2011. Estibaliz fled to Italy while being two-months pregnant by her third lover, but got arrested soon after. Her son was born in January 2012, but got taken away from her immediately and is now being looked after by her parents in Barcelona, Spain.
Estibaliz Carranza was sentenced to life in a secure mental institution in 2012. While incarcerated, she wrote a book called ‘Meine zwei Leben: Die wahre Geschichte der Eislady.’ (‘My second life: The true story of the Ice Lady’)

Brian Lee Draper and Torey Michael Adamcik were both 16 years old when they brutally stabbed their friend and classmate, Cassie Jo Stoddart (16), to death on the 22nd of September, 2006. She got stabbed a total of 29 times, nine of those wounds were fatal.
The boys had filmed their plans in the months leading up to the murder. On the night before the murder they recorded themselves sitting in the car talking about how excited they were to kill Cassie and their plan to make even more victims.
Brian: ‘‘We found our victim and sad as it may be… she’s our friend. But you know what? We all have to make sacrifices. Our first victim is going to be Cassie Stoddart and…’’ Torey: ‘‘(interrupts) God!’’ Brian: ‘‘Her friends. (laughs) We’ll find out if she has friends over. She’s gonna be alone in a big… dark… house… out in the middle of nowhere. (laughs) How perfect can you get? I mean, like holy shit dude!’’ Torey: ‘‘I’m horny just thinking about it.’’ Brian: ‘‘(yelling) Hell yeah! So we’re gonna fucking kill her and her friends and we’re gonna keep moving on! I heard some news about Kirsten. She’s gonna be alone from six to seven. So we might… kill her, then drive over to Cassie’s thing and scare the shit out of them and kill them one… by… fucking… one!’’
Brian Draper and Torey Adamcik were both convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. They were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility for parole.
Susan Wright was born on the 24th of April, 1976, in Houston, Texas. She briefly worked as a topless dancer before finding employment as a restaurant waitress in Galveston. It was here that she met her future husband, Jeff Wright. The couple went on to have two children.
On the evening or 13 January, 2000, Susan tied Jeff to their bed. What he presumed was going to be an enjoyable night turned into a nightmare. When Jeff was immobilised, Susan stabbed him 193 times from head to toe with two different knifes. She then buried him in the back yard. In fact, Jeff had dug his own grave. He had dug a large hole on the patio which he planned on turning into a fish pond. The following day, Susan filed a domestic abuse report in order to get a restraining order against her deceased husband. She then came home and painted the entire bedroom in an attempt to conceal the grim crime. A couple of days later, Susan asked her attorney, Neal Davis, to come to her home where she confessed to the murder. The dog had partially unearthed his corpse and started to chew on his hand. Neckties were found tied around his wrists and his ankles were bound with a bathrobe sash. There was red wax on his buttocks, thigh, and genitals. Susan had stabbed Jeff with such force that the tip of the blade was discovered lodged in his skull.
Susan was pleading not guilty by reason of self-defence. Her defence attorney claimed that Susan had been suffering from physical and mental abuse at the hands of her husband for numerous years and that she killed him to protect herself and their children. Susan claimed she didn’t tie him to the bed but was in the bedroom when he came at her with a knife. Susan, who was 5'5", said she was able to overpower Jeff, who as 6'3" and 220lbs, and grab the knife from him and stab him over 100 times. The prosecution, however, contended that she was a scheming wife and that she killed him in the hopes of collecting a $200,000 life insurance policy. A friend of Jeff had once heard Susan berate him for filling out the forms incorrectly on the life insurance policy thus delaying the process. The prosecution admitted that Jeff wasn’t the perfect husband and that he had drug issues but contended he never harmed Susan or the children. In fact, they argued that Susan never once claimed he was abusive until after she killed him, adding that she only filed the domestic abuse report the day after his murder.
The jury sided with the prosecution and Susan was sentenced to 25 years in prison which was later commuted to 20 years.
14-year-old John Hron had no time for bullies or racists. The teenager from Sweden went to school with several people that would fall into those categories. He was a keen canoeist and enjoyed playing the guitar.
On the afternoon of the 17th of August, 1995, John and his friend, Christian, were camping by Ingetorpssjon lake near Kode, Sweden. Shortly after they set up camp, four neo-nazis approached their tent. Ranging from 15-years-old to 18-years-old, John recognised one of the reprobates. It was Mikael Fjalljholm, a ruthless bully in his school. John and Mikael had bashed heads beforehand. John was horrified by his racist and cruel behaviour and was known to stand up to him when pushed. But now, Mikael had three friends with him, Daniel Hanson, John Billing and BM, as he was only referred to in the media.
They approached the tent and started to senselessly beat John. They told him to say that he “loves nazism” to which he staunchly refused and received another beating. They kicked and punched him in the head and smashed beer bottles over his head. The sadistic group would beat him for hours and every now and then, would pretend to be apologetic and offer him a drink before starting the attack again. It was a cat and mouse type attack. They burnt him in the fire and burnt his neck with a piece of burning wood.
At some point during the attack, John managed to break free and jump into the lake. However, the group started hollering that they would murder Christian if he did not return. Barely clinging to life, he swam back and the torture continued. When John fell unconscious, they threw him into the lake where he drowned. Christian hitched a ride back home and called police and named John’s killers. When his body was retrieved, it was said that his injuries matched those to somebody who had been hit by a train.
If the grim murder of John wasn’t shocking enough, his killers all received lenient sentences. Daniel was released after just six years while Mikael was sentenced to five years in institutional youth care. The other two received just a few months in prison. John posthumously received the inaugural Stig Dagerman Prize for free speech and world peace.

Clauddine Blanchard was murdered by her 24-year old daughter, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, and her daughter’s boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn (26). They had stabbed her to death on the 14th of June, 2015.
Gypsy had been abused by her mother her whole life long by pretending she was ill and had various disabilities (Munchausen syndrome by Proxy). Clauddine shaved Gypsy’s head in order to fake that she had cancer, she gave her an unnecessary and painful feeding tube, lots of unneeded prescription medications and so on. Clauddine tried to get sympathy by exploiting Gypsy, she was also doing it for donations, free trips, etc.
Gypsy pled guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to ten years in prison, she will be eligible for parole in 2024, when she is 32 years old.
Ilse Koch was a Nazi wife who worked as a guard at a concentration camp near Berlin. Isle tortured and murdered many Jewish inmates and preserved their organs (as seen on display) and used their skin to craft lampshades and other household items.

The terrifying mask that Edward Paisnel, “The Beast of Jersey”, would wear as he broke into the homes of his unsuspecting victims where he would proceed to rape the women and children. He was charged with 13 counts of assault, rape, and sodomy, but it is believed that he abused many other children; there are even reports of him breaking into a children’s home that was owned by his mother-in-law, where he would then drug and sexually assault the children.
The Belinsky Cannibal
Alexander Vladimirovich Bychkov is a Russian serial killer convicted of the murders of nine men in Belinsky, Penza Oblast, between 2009 and 2012.
Bychkov, who referred to himself as “Rambo”, was so infuriated by homeless people and street alcoholics that he would lure them to either his home, or a deserted area, and murder them with a hammer or knife. He would then dismember the corpses and bury the remains in both his backyard and the city’s rubbish dump.
Bychkov was only 24 years old when he was caught, he was arrested after he broke into a hardware store to steal knives. Police found in his home a personal diary in which he called himself a “lone wolf”, and claimed to be responsible for 11 murders. In the diary he also wrote that he began to murder after being kicked out by his girlfriend, his motivation to kill was a desire to impress her.
Whilst being questioned by police, he admitted to eating the livers, hearts and muscles of his victims.
Bychkov was diagnosed with mixed personality disorder but declared mentally competent to stand trial. He was found guilty of nine murders and a burglary. The bodies of two other victims mentioned in the diary were never found.
On March 22nd, 2013, Bychkov was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Penza Oblast Court.

On November 13th, 1985, a massive eruption of the Nevado del Ruiz volcano occurred, killing 22 000 people and destroying thirteen villages in Colombia. One very notable victim of this natural disaster was that of 13-year-old Omayra Sanchez. When the lahar hit her house, Omayra’s legs became trapped under her home’s concrete and roof, rendering her immobilized from the waist down. Despite rescue teams’ best efforts to free the girl, they were unable to without breaking her legs in the process. The young girl remained trapped beneath the water for three harrowing nights. During her predicament, she was said to have had a positive attitude, agreeing to be interviewed and singing songs. It was decided by doctors that it would be more humane to let her die, as they were lacking in the surgical equipment needed to save her if they were to amputate her legs. She died on November 16th due to exposure, either from hypothermia or gangrene. Just the day before, her face reportedly swelled, her hands whitened, and her eyes turned completely red. French photographer Frank Fournier took a photograph of her in her final days, which was titled The Agony of Omayra Sanchez. In the photograph, the lighting made her eyes appear black instead of red.
