9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character (Tom and Star)
That would be the entirety of the blood moon ball episode. They were both so pretty especially Tom, I couldn’t take my eyes off him!! I know a lot of people hated Tom after watching this episode but I liked every bit of him being an angry jerk. I knew he wasn’t just going to be a minor character.
I didn’t really focus on Star’s personality when I first saw her, she was pretty in the pink dress and the tension with Marco distracted me from wondering what she was really like.

The Star vs. The Forces of Evil pilot was found!!! I’m so ecstatic and have so much to say:
- I love Daron Nefcy’s animation style!!! I wonder she was ever a newgrounds animator? If not she would have fit right in.
- It seems some of the animations done of troll Skulnick that appeared in the show were originally done for the pilot!
- Marco’s pilot name is “Sol” which literally means “sun” in spanish… making him and our protagonist “Sun” and “Star” :,) Cute!
- Speaking of the name Sol… They’re ship name would have probably been “Solar” …Cool!
- Marco’s (Sol’s) rudeness is turned WAYYY up compared to the final show. I find his characterization interesting here and almost wish it stuck into the show we know now.
- I think it’s interesting Jackie’s design underwent 0 changes into the show, but that’s fine as I still find her design to be perfect.
- Star’s clothing style is quite different. My assumption is that the concept & pilot Star’s style is more reflective of Daron’s personal tastes in fashion, and her clothing’s changes going into the show were to match with her character more.
- Seeing Star’s magic portrayed with only stock effects, as well as the lack of background music during the fight scene, were both incredibly jarring to me despite being standard pilot stuff.
I think that’s all I have say, maybe I’ll had more later. This is very exciting to me!

I hadn't even realized but it has been 4 years since Star Vs the Forces of Evil has ended. I still remember how amazing this show was and even now I'm still thinking about it from time to time.
I'm very happy and thankful to have the chance to watch this very chaotic but lovable series and hopefully to see more of them in the future.
