This is what happens when you value individuals above the collective.
It’s called love, you son of a bitch. It’s why Dev turned.

We can still stop him, but we have to go now.
Through The Seasons: First & Last Scenes Indra & Octavia (Season 2 - Season 7)
I told you once we mourn the dead when the war is over.
Either way, transcendence or extinction… I would have liked to live a little first.
In hindsight, this is where it should’ve ended...
Through The Seasons: First & Last Scenes Octavia Blake (Season 1 - Season 7)
The world should have protected you, but you have been asked to protect it. What an honour. What an injustice.

wow i can’t believe after 5 seasons the 100 had the most perfect ending in television history
She’s heard every story about the girl under the floor who saved the human race.
You told me that instead of regretting, it’s better to try, even if you ruin everything.
But I don’t think that’s right. It really can ruin everything.
Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung
Just a little compilation of Jin being concerned and protective when it comes to Rim.
What a wholesome ending!
Nobody died, there wasn’t a ridiculous “return of the true King” plot, the two princes still liked each other in the end, and and the main couple got to stay together! I also loved how, instead of glorifying the monarchy and the brutality of the past; the show emphasized the importance of modernization, social equality, education, truth and building a better future by learning from the mistakes of the past.
I was glad to see Yi Jin become King instead of Yi Rim. (Both princes are good people, but Yi Jin actually knows how to rule and is willing to put the happiness of the people of his country before his own. Rim didn’t even want to be royalty, he just wanted to live a life where he can be free with Hae Ryung. If he became King he would’ve traded one lonely life for another.)
What a good show!
