This feels like such a bittersweet, genuinely heart-wrenching post. I can only begin to imagine the kind of pain the entire family is going through.
When I first heard of his passing, my heart was in my throat. It's always terrible to lose somebody and to lose somebody so young, so suddenly, and somebody who was so kind and so loved is truly devastating.
I'm glad they can look at these kind of memories, that they were altogether in one place at the same time, and I can only wish them healing and peace.

Idk if you're still doing your video on Robyn Brown but a few people on reddit have said that she and one of her sisters were both pursuing her first husband, David Jessop, before they married. David chose Robyn's sister, but then Robyn turned up pregnant and they had to get married instead. But people on reddit are often full of shit so idk.
Thank you! I have heard that one before but completely forgot about it tbh, I'll add it to my list of stuff to look up.
And yep I'm still making it, it's taking a minute to verify the stuff I'm going to include because a lot of what we "know" about Robyn comes from anonymous sources or is something she says on the fly and then contradicts later 😒 I don't know if she purposefully does that so people won't know anything about her history, or if she just says whatever she thinks she needs to in the moment to get her way (I think the latter).
Honestly reddit has been a more trustworthy source so far believe it or not, I've been able to verify more from them than Robyn herself, depending on the topic. There's definitely some made up stuff in the mix too but that's kind of what Robyn gets for making up stuff about her past and constantly contradicting it. People are left guessing based on the little she does tell the truth about.

I agree, it's quite odd. However, I completely understand it - if she has a child with cancer, and they've been thoroughly hurt by this "insurance" company, I fully understand why you'd just snap and go "NO!".

FLDS is one of the cults that massively draws my attention.
I think it's absolutely wild how so much of what they do goes completely under the radar.
This woman, in particular, I believe, did eventually escape, alongside her children, but the amount of abuse/trauma she/they/everyone in this cult has faced is beyond the pale.

It just occurred to me, that JimBob was apparently always going on about how Sweet Jilly Muffin was the most like Michelle of all the girls.
But when Michelle was asked which of her kids was most like her, her answer was always Joy-Anna, and later on, Johannah.
Makes you wonder if JimBob has ever had a foot in reality.
Personally from show footage alone I'd think Jessa is the most like Michelle...but then Michelle has never seemed "sweet" to me. (And that's no insult.)

ok so I listen to “Leaving Eden” podcast and they did their Jill book recap and Gavi said something during it that gave me chills and made me want to throw up. He was just thinking out loud about why all the older girls were allowed to marry outside of IBLP, and he said something along the lines of “do you think Jim Bob searched for men outside of IBLP for them due to what happened with Josh? Since they would not longer be a perfect pure IBLP woman” - so he was open and looked for men who would not only be willing to be on the show, but also wouldn’t for lack of a better term waste a perfect IBLP man on a less than perfect wife.
That gives me every more fear for the younger hopefully perfect girls. Will they get married off to IBLP men?
And is this why Jana never got married? Not that she was picky but JB was picky for her because she was still perfect?
I think Jana was part of the situation with Josh? But never spoke out about it because she wasn’t married yet and it would ruin her chances at marriage but I could be mid remembering- at this point she wears pants and the whole things gone sideways but - could be! The co-host said we would have to see if the younger girls are all married to IBLP men that will be rather damning evidence.
Jana wasn't in the police report as I recall. It was the four sisters Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy who sued against the release of that report. Ofcourse Jana could have been affect outside of that report but to me it also came across as she wasn't abused by Josh. And wouldn't it be in JB's interest to marry her off as she would have been?

I doubt the Forsyth's would ever have been seen as the perfect IBLP family though. Given that Terry has been married before, and had children with his first wife. And then he and Roxanne had only 2 children.

As a queer lady, the biggest internal realization shock to me mentally and emotionally is that I’m an extrovert???? I thought I was an introvert for the longest time but it was just the social anxiety talking.
Also did you know that extroverts could have anxiety??? Now that I’m properly medicated I love people!

I always thought I was an introvert.
Turns out I have/had pretty bad social anxiety. Now my anxiety is more under control, I'm finding that I love being around people - who knew?!?!

The Romeike Are Facing Deportation
They were told to report to ICE next month to prove self-deportation. I believe Lydia is still in the process of obtaining her green card and is still connected to her family's asylum status. I don't know what this means for Lydia and her other married brother.

Interesting - I won't make comments about leopards eating (white) faces here, however tempting that is. Sounds like Trace is considering moving to Germany with Lydia and Ryker if it comes to that, though I'm not sure of the immigration requirements that has either.
I think it's really significant that Jinger and Jeremy are being publically supportive of Jill.
Sure, it's not a huge, massive, blazing, outpouring of unlimited support. But something as simple as calling her brave and commenting, "Love you, sis" is a firm stance when it's Jim Bob you're up against.
I somewhat expected them to stay quiet for fear, incurring pushback against themselves, and that would have been easy to do.
