Day 1 of lockdown (in my room ahah)

Thank god our dormitory institution(?) is bringing us food and they’re so lovely that they’re respecting allergies and preferences (not only related to religion).

For some people these might seem obvious but I think it’s not. We’re more o less 250 (just one area of the dormitory is in lockdown), it’s not easy to organize 2 meals a day for that amount of people and at the same time respecting all of preferences, therefore I’m grateful for what they’re doing !!

(Sorry, I know it’s not studyblr related but I wanted to say this, actually let me know what you think! Am I too grateful for something that is a “primary necessity”? Idk, I’m only hearing complaints from other people with whom I’m sharing this situation...)

I had to run some errands today + blood analysis.

Then we’ve known that our dormitory is in lockdown because of some stupid people that were partying in these days and caught Covid.

So now we’re locked in our room, we also have no access to our common kitchen 🙂🙃🙂🙃

What a day!

Lessons from 10 hours: 2h of electrodynamics + 2h of Lab + 4h of Lab practice + 2h of German = me dead but happy cause I’m being productive!

Now I’ll take the evening to read and relax!

Today was my birthday! ✨ But I didn’t celebrate.

I had lessons only in the morning and then went to the library to study in the afternoon! I treated myself with a coffee shake and that’s it!

I reviewed today’s lecture notes and did a bunch of chemistry exercises, pretty simple day!

In the morning I had 4 hours of lessons: Chemistry and Mathematical Methods. After lunch I went to the library to review some notes taken during the lessons.

This is kinda new for me, but I think it’s an effective method to refresh and comprehend better the new information (baby-spaced-repetition I guess?). It helps you to make sure you’ve understood everything and you’re ready for the next argument of that subject!

I’m finally backkk!!

I know the lately I have posted basically nothing, but with the exam session and other personal problems I didn’t feel like to share my negative thoughts. Now things are different! I’ll try to stay positive!

Anyway, today I had almost 8 hours of lessons with just 1 hours of break for lunch! Actually I attended the first half of them by my room but for the afternoon I went to the library. I think that’s a change of scenery might help me to focus more! After that I came back home and had dinner. I’ll take the rest of the evening to read.

My exam went really bad, I’m losing all my motivation to study, I feel stressed and overwhelmed. I’m scared that if I keep not passing the exams I might lose my scholarship and my room in the dorm. Therefore I won’t be albe to keep studying since I have no money. It’s an awful vicious cycle. I feel like shit.
