I truly fucking despise the new season of Doctor Who being promoted as one that will be unique for showing the Doctor's queerness or whatever the fuck. There's this attitude under all this promo like the 15th Doctor is the first queer Doctor as if a) the 9th Doctor didn't kiss a man b) the Doctor didn't canonically change genders and c) when they were a woman was CANONICALLY in love with another woman. like HELLO??? I don't even like 13 and yaz that much and think they should've been written better, but there's something so misogynistic and revisionist about people acting like David Tennant saying Isaac Newton was hot in the anniversary special is "confirming the Doctor is queer" or that Ncuti's doctor will be the first queer Doctor. like...i hate it. This whole line of marketing reeks of Disney's "first Gay™" style marketing and I fucking hate it.

there’s this tumblr post before about magical tattoos and how it could move and all that and now all i can think about is regulus getting a dog tattoo that runs around his body and when he started dating james it would appear on places where james kisses reg growling and barking at him lol

Sirius somehow finds out and is delighted. He loves that his “spirit lives on everywhere” and he becomes best friends with said dog tattoo. It pisses Reg off bc it’s his tattoo goddamnit. The tattoo moves to whichever arm is closer to Sirius whenever Regulus and Sirius are in the same room and Sirius greets the tattoo before he says hi to regulus. And before Sirius leaves the room he tells the tattoo to “keep james away from his innocent baby brother.”

I love Nandor and Colin Robinson's relationship from these last two episodes. Nandor save Colin's life and tried so hard to help him feed. Colin stole Nandor's mother's necklace and changed the immigrant museum exposition so that it would make Nandor feel seen. I don't know they're just family and it feels so nice :')

1941 crowley is so funny to me especially the bookshop scene because he’s like. he says “imagine i’m a man in uniform and i am just SO horny. i am painfully incredibly turned on and i need to see you do something. anything. haha what would. what would you do to m—i mean for me”

i literally cannot think too deeply about The Bite. like. he was in the harsh sterile lights of a GAS STATION. with DEREK, arguably the worst vampire of all time. took his little cardigan off:(. realized what he was doing. said “maybe im not ready..” and then.. the Bite. like. it can’t be undone. can’t be RE-done. can’t be taken back. he deserved a dark room covered in a hundred candles and a velvet cape and maybe some red wine and violet roses. and a very serious nandor grasping his hand, kneeling by his side, gently talking him through the process until finally sinking his fangs into his familiar’s soft neck with the delicacy of a decade of pining :(

The fact that Guillermo didn't try to stop nandor from going to outer space and very likely end up dead because he was so heart-eyed over the idea that nandor was doing it just for him that his braincells had completely stopped functioning.

So, obviously it's very funny because of the camera angle and everything and that the line is a cliche, but seriously the way that Nandor, who, in the Casino episode, discovered that the world was not a disk held up by elephants, but a tiny globe in an endless and expanding universe and was absolutely crushed, spiraling wildly into an existential crisis about his insignificance, now in this new episode, looks down at the Earth from space, awestruck by the beauty of it, and saying "It really makes you reflect on how small we all are" with reverence...There's something beautiful about that. Especially since the Casino episode, he was alone, staring out at the endless night sky, saying he had no one. And in this, he was making a grand gesture towards a man he loves and wants to impress. From "How can anything I've accomplished mean anything, when I am so small?" to "Isn't it amazing? So small as we are, every accomplishment becomes so immense."

The wars he fought now fade to the annals of history. The country he ruled crumbled centuries ago and he had no one to tell him. But today he flew to outer space. And,after falling to Earth in a ball of flame and burning away his old clothes, symbols of his past he could never move beyond, immediately upon landing being wrapped up by the man he loves in a flag meant to symbolize love and unconditional acceptance. The GROWTH. The SYMBOLISM.
