Me, yesterday: and she told goodreads that what she loves about Simon and Baz’s relationship is how sure they are of each other, and they still have so much growing to do

Me, yesterday: so i’m like…95% sure

Me, yesterday: you know…inshallah

Me, yesterday: but she probably won’t announce it until 6 months from now because that’s when she said she’d start posting spoilers

Me, yesterday: so i’ll just have to suffer and hope for awhile

Me, yesterday: I even have a tag for it! it’s “inshallah book 3.”  that will be my book 3 tag until we know the title :)

There is no proof to back me up on this, but I think for this magickal being to recognize Simon without ever having met him before, he must still have some magic in him. She knew the magic that took her magic and when Simon “put it back” and she can still recognize it in him now. I don’t think she would have been able to know who he was if he didn’t have any magic and was basically a Normal. Anyone else’s thoughts?

(Also I think her showing him kindness about taking the world’s magic was very good for him; he needed to hear that it wasn’t being held against him.)

I would like to point two things out about this release...

1) Simon has a sword that seems much similar to the Sword of Mages, granted it might not be but >_>

2) Baz is not on this. Baz has been included in every promotion and book cover, so why is it now that he is not there?

“You can’t wear that,” Simon grins.

“Where did that even come from? Do you just carry a ladies’ scarf around with you?”

“It was my mother’s,” Baz says.

Hey I see y’all talking about “I’d tie our hearts together, chamber by chamber” and “Sometimes Simon kisses me like it’s the end of the world, and I worry he might believe that it is” and that’s good, those lines fuck me up, but can I draw your attention to:

“Why now, what’s the key? How do I get back here tomorrow? Promise to let me back in.”

alright so all problems aside can we all agree that “i’d tie our hearts together, chamber by chamber” is an absolutely amazing line. i have been emotional over this line since saturday

The thing giving me life right now is seeing that I’m not the only one wholly and profoundly dissatisfied.

That one part in carry on when they were in the tower and baz thought Simon was dead and he screamed and then cradled him in his arms, and when Simon was alive, Baz was like,

“It’ll be alright love, it’ll be alright”

And Penny is just sitting there like

“O h”

(The last sentence on the page literally was “this is starting to all make sense now” or smthn like that and it’s just hilarious cus penny is kinda realizing wtf is going on)
