i see so many posts about how wlw are so beautiful and cute- and i completely agree, i lov those posts n i make them myself!! but it’s so important to remember our appearance isn’t the most important thing about us and it doesn’t determine our worth, wlw aren’t just pretty, we’re powerful, incredible, heroic, strong, determined, intelligent, amazing, brave, revolutionary just by existing and a wonderfully loving and supportive community! we are a force to be reckoned with and we can do anything!

(inclusive of trans wlw! if u don’t love n support trans sapphics leave this post tf alone)

this is the first time I’ve seen a post like this and I’m shocked that I haven’t seen one sooner

Holy crap y’all Johnny didn’t ‘do the Welcome to the Madness move’ in his Eros video, Welcome to the Madness did that as an homage to him.

This gif is from a ten year old program, btw.

maybe readers are not aware of it but if you tell a writer in a comment that you “loved that bit and how you wrote it” they will write more of that kind! you have that power!

Reasons why I dislike yaoi fangirls

  • “Let my gays marry!!!”
  • They like to play the homophobic card every time someone says they don’t like a certain yaoi pairing.
  • Usually straight and phobic of other sexualities
  • They like to use the “good ally” card just because they like watching two anime guys do the do and talk about how hot it is.
  • “When I have kids, I hope I have a boy and I hope he is gay so I can ship him with other boys and fangirl over his relationships!!!”
  • “I ship my boyfriend with his best friend!!!”
  • Extremely disrespectful about female characters because they “get in the way of the yaoi”
  • Seemingly ignores the fact that a big majority of anime and manga that fall under the yaoi genre revolve around rape and sexual harassment… but one man saying “no” while the other continues is extremely hot so it’s ok apparently….
  • That whole thing when gay marriage became legal in the US, tons of fangirls were screaming about how their fictional gay guys could finally marry.
  • They like to invalidate trans/nonbinary characters and automatically making them male just for the sake of yaoi ships.
  • To sum it up, a majority of yaoi fangirls sexualize an entire sexuality and, by doing so, disrespect irl gay men and see them only as fanservice fodder and then turn around and act like they are the best allies ever.
  • Literally the female equivalent of dudebros that watch lesbian porn
  • They pretty much fetishize homosexuality
  • They love gay men and in that same breath say how much they hate gay women
  • Making cannonly strong male characters into whiny princesses for their ships
  • One has to be “manly” and the other “girly”: nothing else in between
  • Bisexual men dont exist.
  • Only the hottest men get paired up; they have very high standards
  • They ship based on looks rather than chemistry

• say that what they do is okay because men sexualize lesbians and what they do is a “coming of age” for young girls and shouldn’t be criticized or else you hate women
