This game is rated MA-17 and includes discussions of death and grief, characters dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD, references to and brief depictions of blood and violence, alcohol use, strong language, and content of a sexual nature.

Alchemical reaction demo

The first demo of Alchemical Reaction has been released, and you can find it on itch.io!

Alchemical Reaction is an LGBT-friendly, fantasy otome game about an up and coming alchemist trying to find their place in the world while juggling their worklife and relationships. The game is being developed by a team of only 3 people; 1 artist, 1 programmer, and 1 proof reader, with a goal of offering a fun cast of characters you can easily get attached to while also exploring various struggles with things like identity and mental health.

As of right now, the game is in a very basic form, a prologue chapter, but we plan to continue development as soon as possible. Our next update will be to the demo, to fix a few typos, timing issues, and to re-evaluate how our game approaches the player’s gender, as we want to ensure no one feels alienated from their experience with the game.

With that being said, we hope you enjoy your first day as an alchemist!
