If you don’t like Westallen or Iris, don’t follow me. I have no idea why anyone would choose to follow or attempt to interact with me if you have no respect for the importance of either the ship or that character. Do you know how rare it is to see multidimensional, nuanced and healthy interracial ships portrayed with as much given to them as this ship? Not often at all. They are not a typical couple. So stop with the damn falsehoods and perpetuation that it is anything else. It’s tiring and I have no patience for it.
Watch the show. Go look at canon again. Stop making out Iris to be something she isn’t when she’s one of the most selfless characters out there. And don’t mistake me as someone who has time for bigotry or a twist of the facts.

Given what has happened and the people who have been hurt in the process, I would like to say that this blog is a safe space for all people of colour. There is a zero tolerance policy for bigotry and racism on this blog, and I hope my followers provide that same safe space. You are equal and good, and your trust has been taken advantage of. For that, I am tremendously sorry and hope that with awareness to the harmful affects of such behaviour, and with continued support from those who wish to see each and every one of you succeed in writing and in life, that one day we might have safe communities to share.

Upon entry into his personal laboratory, Barry quickly flipped on the lights, moving with purpose around columns to stand under the large skylight. Taking hold of the dangling chain, he pulled, hand over hand. It clanked noisily through the pulleys, and the skylight began to close. Barry hung onto the chain, glancing past the glass windows and toward the outside world. A storm was blowing in. Amidst the raindrops streaking the surface, he IMMEDIATELY noticed a reflection contained within it, standing behind him in the doorway. Barry straightened at once, noticeably startled.
