*IMPORTANT* Moving on/Final Blog Update

       I’ve talked about this post for a while now, and now I get the chance to actually say what I wanted to say. Please read the whole thing as I plan on addressing as many things as I can and just reflecting on my time on this blog.

       I joined this blog on November 4th, 2017 -almost 3 years ago now- and never would I have predicted the affect it would have on me. This blog has helped introduce me to a wonderful community that I may never have been a part of if it hadn’t been for Rae reaching out for help when she did. I’ve met some wonderful people of whom I am eternally grateful to call my friends. Being a mod for this blog has been a time I’ll always remember with a great fondness and while I am a little sad to leave, I know that this is just a starting point for the next chapter in my online writing career. 

       I do feel the need to reiterate a point I have said a few times before. Rae leaving this blog in May had nothing to do with any kind of fight or disagreement between the two of us. She had her own reasons for leaving the blog, and she has asked me not to share the specifics with anyone she hadn’t already told. We still talk regularly since my data plan allows free text messaging to Canada, and I can say that she is doing okay. She did feel guilty about leaving the blog with no notice, and leaving everything to me, but I had told her that I wasn’t upset about her choice because she needed to do what she needed to do for herself. However, since this blog was her blog first, I have decided that I feel uncomfortable continuing this blog on my own without Rae, which is why I will no longer be posting any work on this blog following this post. 

       With all of that being said, I’m not done with writing fic. Before I even joined this blog, I always played around with the idea of starting my own writing blog, going as far as to secure a url but never really doing anything else with it. Early on, after I established myself a little on this blog, I began to post some other content I had written that was not YJ related onto my solo blog. This is where I plan to continue from. My solo blog will be a multi-fandom blog, meaning that I plan on writing for other fandoms that aren’t just Young Justice. These fics can be from other shows, from other aspects of the DC Universe, from video games, or hell maybe even from a book if I find myself enjoying it enough. As much as I love the Young Justice show, I found myself feeling kind of burnt out always working within the constraints of one universe so I didn’t wish to limit myself in such a way when I had the choice for what kind of content I wished to produce. I don’t want to say too much about that blog, as I will have it linked below for you guys to check out and will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about it there. For those worried about my ongoing series “Sidelined,” I fully plan on writing parts 4 and onwards on my solo blog with a note letting people know that it’s still me just with a different blog name. Originally I planned on posting all of those in one place, but in all honesty it sounds like too much of a hassle and I am ever so slightly on the lazy side of the spectrum.

       I think I’ve covered everything, you can find any alternate accounts down below and you are more than welcome to send me asks or direct messages if you have any questions on here or on my solo tumblr. 

       At this moment though, I would like to take a few moments to acknowledge a few of the people who have had a big impact on me since I met them and people I consider to be good friends (this isn’t all of them, just the one’s whose tumblr I know I can tag). I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without them and they deserve to be appreciated. I eneded up passing out at like 7pm last night and only completely woke up a little bit ago so the drabble will unfortunately be pushed to late this night instead of during the day because there was a rather embarrassing glaring mistake that is forcing me to redo a lot of the last 1/3 of the drabble. I’ll try to keep you guys posted as I work on it!

Z anon I dearly love you. I also love this series. At least I think at this point it’s a series. Anyway this would be set sometime after the first drabble from the Halloween event that you can read here! I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that the Watchtower doesn’t have permanent residence options or it’s just that no one lives up there. Either way I gave it some rooms that are just for temporary use in order to make this drabble work -Terra

Just letting you guys know I have the first of the two drabbes in the queue for tomorrow at what I hope will be noon. If not then I might have accidentally set it for 1pm. The other one I plan on fixing up on Sunday while I’m at my uncle’s house all day dogsitting. So the last one will either be up late on Sunday or Monday around noon again if I think it’s too late at night to post

Back from unexpected hiatus!

Hey everyone! I wanted to take a quick moment before getting into the why to sincerely apologize for just disappearing like that. It wasn’t what I wanted to do it just kind of ended up that way.

Basically I did kind of end up getting sick to start things off. Though it was more like a pseudo-cold that didn’t quite commit because I was feeling like shit and occasionally I’d have a very low grade fever, but I never actually went to a full-blown cold. Then I had a friend fly down for a week and I didn’t want to be rude since they spent money to come see me. After they left, it was my brother’s graduation party/ceremony from his 4-year college and again, I didn’t want to be rude since we had family travel to come see the ceremony/party. After that I had to do some last-minute errands for school, managed to introduce Rae to Mass Effect which somehow obviously meant I had to immediately replay the entire trilogy, and then classes started on the 19th and I like taking the entire first week to gauge how the semester is going to be before attempting to start any projects.

Speaking of Projects, I want to get these last 2 drabbles out next week, because after that I’m going to be shifting some of my focus onto one of my writing pieces that I want to submit for my state’s writing competition (our campus is hosting this year!) and my CW teacher promised to help me iron it out since the submission deadline is the first week of October. In addition to the writing comp, these last 2 semesters will be my last at my college and I genuinely want to try and get as engaged in activities as I can since it’s my last opportunity to.
