Life is easy- but when Mingyu starts paying more attention, he realizes why things are so easy: because it’s not just the two of you raising your baby, there’s a third person involved, and your baby has no concept of what differentiates a dad from a baby sitter.

Prologue

The first scream of joy captures Mingyu’s attention, and the tall man turns his head to follow the sound.

The playground is alive with children enjoying the first fallen snow of the year, a sight that makes Mingyu’s heart warm in his chest and his grip on your hand tighten. A smile spreads across his face, and when you squeeze his fingers in return, he looks to you, pleased to see a similar look of wonder on your features.

He opens his mouth, body tingling with energy and anticipation- but before he can so much as broach the subject of having babies with you, another child is screaming- and the voice belongs to Hoshi, who barrels through the two of you, forcing your interlocked fingers apart as he attempts to escape from DK, who is holding a massive sheet of what looks like ice-
