Every fandom should have a tiny-loki, except you can’t have this one, THEY’RE OURS AND THEY’RE OUR PRECIOUS.

GUYS. GUYS.

GUYS.

HOLY FUCK.

That means free access to Photoshop CS2 - and that already has most of what you could ask for, really.

All you have to do is create a FREE ADOBE ID.

I am not sure about commercial use, but MAN. FUCKIN’ SWEET DUDE

Reblogging for the greater good.

I’m unlikely to pick it up as I honestly never use PS anymore, but here everyone who follows me. Free stuff.

Signal boost for any of my followers who need art programs!

The cs2 programs date back only a few years, and still have much of the functionality of today’s more modern ones. The differences between most of the versions are little more than slight modifications or additions of minor features, and UI changes. Go for it guys!!

Also, in case the page is down, here are the download links + serials.

FREE ART PROGRAMS!

IS THIS REAL?!??

“Etherologist Clezbitt” is my Easter egg colored Derp of a Mesmer. And is the one who I stuff behind the other side of Pilkter’s Bar. Whether or not ‘Etherology’ is a legitimate branch of study in Synergetics OR it’s just something he made up one day is still unclear.  Four plus years at collage turned him from a goofball into a certified goofball.

(Really, I just wanted an ingame excuse to throw eye watering colors on someone..)

What the...how have I NOT seen this yet???? This is so awesome!!! WoooOW! <3

I had kind of lost hope that people still gave SMC a positive reaction but you have restored my hope. I really needed to see a non biased post and thank you!

You know, I think you might be surprised how many people feel this way, you’re definitely not alone in feeling that!  I have gotten a lot of messages exactly like this, that people have felt really alone in enjoying SMC and they were happy to see someone talking positively about it.I think there are more people enjoying SMC than you might realize, partly because it gets really disheartening to have so much negativity aimed at you by poorly behaved fans (not all people who don’t like SMC are poorly behaved, let’s be clear!  But enough of them are that it can still get really disheartening for some people) and you feel like giving up, just disengaging (or at least I did). That’s why there’s large chunks of liveblogging missing from my posts, because I went through a lot of weeks (months) where I was just so disheartened by fandom’s behavior that I couldn’t deal with facing it anymore. But it’s slowly getting easier to find people who openly enjoy SMC, who are starting to feel more comfortable with talking about it!  After making it clear that I’m done with asshole behavior on my posts, I’ve started feeling much better about posting my SMC liveblogs.  I think, over the last few months, fandom has gotten a lot better about people not giving each other shit about what they do/don’t like, just living and let living, which is great to see!  (Or maybe it’s just that all our ignored user lists are getting better.  ^_~)Part of the situation is just that there’s not a super ton of conversation in the Sailor Moon fandom!  There are pockets of it, especially if you’re into the manga, but it’s generally not a fandom that does a lot of in-depth talking, so it feels like nobody’s talking about how they enjoy SMC, I think?Anyway, I’m glad I could be a good place for you to get some pro-SMC conversation!  I’m definitely not unbiased, I’m coming in with just as much bias as anyone, but I’m definitely on the side of enjoying SMC and how it’s giving me a great platform to talk about all these specific things from the manga storyline that I’ve so loved. And, hell, pretty much ANY version of Sailor Moon flailing is welcome here, this is a blog that’s meant to be as positive as I can make it.  (Because that helps me, to make a point to be positive and cheerful about things, it helps me personally find a good emotional steadiness.  ♥)

<3 I’m loving SMC, I loved the 90s Anime, and especially the manga. It’s wonderful to see the original story finally see the light (Personally I’m super stoked to finally get to see Pluto get her due in this arc!). I think the negative just gets more notice than the positive when it comes to a fandom. Take heart!

Maybe it’s just me but it feels like the series staff are finding their groove. I’ve noticed less animation errors and the scenes flow more smoothly, with more dynamic and more of a manga feel (like the Time Warp act using some manga style reactions). This makes me hopeful that now they’re out of the gate and the series is getting enough attention, that they’re able to now focus on their craft and hopefully getting a better budget. (Heaven knows if I could afford the special ed blurays to support them I totally would!)

Also, thanks to #girlsofmoonlight for your wonderful blog and commentary on SMC. I love reading your in-depth reactions and thoughts on every episode and the Sailor Moon universe in general. It’s actually helped me pay attention more to the details, emotions, etc in the scenes and characters, and helped me enjoy them more.

TL;DR - SMC is awesome, and hopefully here to stay!

And this is why we do theatre. Thank you Jen, for sharing this story. And thank you Doug Storm for making it a story worth telling.

Breathtaking The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings illustration by Jian Guo also known as breathing2004

This is too beautiful not to always reblog.

Can someone please commission this artist to create an illuminated version of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings? It’d probably be crazy expensive but GORGEOUS!

This is the best image we have of the dwarf planet Ceres.

It’s a mysterious place that we know little about. A year ago, however the Herschel Space Observatory discovered that it’s got a tenuous atmosphere of water vapor.

It’s now believed that there are cryovolcanoes blasting liquid water up out of the surface.

Could Ceres host an entire liquid ocean of water? What’s more - if there is liquid water, could there be life?

NASA’s Dawn mission will arrive soon. On January 20th they will release it’s first image of Ceres.

Dawn has now begun the approach to Ceres. It will enter orbit on March 6th.

By the end of the month Dawn’s images will be better than those of the Hubble Space Telescope.

Presently, there’s a large amount of speculation about what the “white spot’ on Ceres actually is. The Herschel Space Observatory’s cryovolcano may in fact be the white spot. If so this will be a prime location to search for some form of astrobiological activity.

The mission is getting more exciting - March can’t arrive soon enough.

This is officially the best image we’ve ever gotten of Ceres. From now on every image Dawn takes will then be the best image of Ceres ever taken until it’s finally in orbit. (Image credits: NASA/JPL-Caltech/UCLA/MPS/DLR/IDA)

Here’s the newest release of images compiled by NASA. We can now see that the mysterious white spot isn’t alone: there are many white spots on Ceres!

This is remarkable. Could these spots be ice deposits? Impact sites that resulted in interior material getting exposed?

We’re only going to continue learning more as Dawn gets closer to this alien world.

The images are growing sharper as NASA’s Dawn mission makes its final approach to Ceres. These images were taken from 52,000 miles away. Soon Dawn will arrive - March 6th.

The images of Ceres continue to get better. The mysterious white spot is still too small to resolve exactly its nature but despite that, it’s by far the brightest thing on Ceres (and it has a sibling!).

“The brightest spot continues to be too small to resolve with our camera, but despite its size it is brighter than anything else on Ceres. This is truly unexpected and still a mystery to us.” said Andreas Nathues, lead investigator for the framing camera team at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research, Gottingen, Germany.

Unfortunately Tumblr won’t support this file size but NASA just released a great gif of a rotating Ceres. Here it is!

In *unofficial* news, it’s being discussed as a possibility that the bright spots may in fact be some sort of plumes. Scientists can see the bright spots rising above the rims of their respective craters when Ceres rotates so that they’re seen from the side of its silhouette.

Again, this is unconfirmed and I’ll update once that status changes.

Dawn will continue to orbit closer to Ceres, increasing the quality of its images (the next set of which shall be released in April).

NASA’s released a full color spread image of Ceres. Now that Dawn’s been orbiting for a little while, the fantastic imagery is beginning to come out.

Ceres appears to have fewer large craters than previously expected.

Scientists have also identified ten “bright spot” regions. They’re still too elusive to make out in current imagery. On April 23rd Dawn will drop to a closer orbit in search of answers.
