Amelia blinks at first. Once the realization hit that her knew toy was taken she let out a wail crying for her toy. She didn’t know any better. She stared up up at the giant meanie and started crying harder.

He rolls his optics, lowering the sensitivity of his audials before stashing the knife away beneath his plating. He's used to the screeching of hatchlings eternally begging for energon. Compared to that, a toddler's temper tantrum was nothing.

He looks around, irritated at their empty surroundings. Where in the pit were this thing's creators?

If anyone was looking for Amelia she had found something sharp and was now playing with it. She was no longer on the search for someone. Instead she was playing with a knife she found while crawling.

He'd avoided getting involves in this nonsense until now, but this is a level of idiocy even he's not prepared to ignore. He swiftly snatched the knife from the infant's hands, regarding her much like he'd regard a particularly dull hatchling.
