Our trip to OZ! 🌈 The Autumn at OZ Festival 2017.
In the middle of a busy ski town in Beech Mountain, NC hides a bit of nostalgia. The newly remodeled “Land of OZ Theme Park” holds a lot of history for the townspeople who were beaming with joy as they enjoyed the festivities along with countless tourists. They encourage you to “dress up” when visiting, so I went as Dorothy, of course. 😉 There weren’t many others dressed up on that day,but I was having too much fun to mind! During your visit to OZ you’ll start out at Dorothy’s house after the twister, then make your way along the winding path of the Yellow Brick Road - stopping for photo ops along the way, with some very familiar characters, and end at the gates of OZ. Once you enter the gates of OZ there is plenty of food & vendors to enjoy! It was surely a great time for folks of all ages and I highly recommend a visit! It was a perfect way to spend the day! 💕

Selfie Dump! 😜 Had a blast this Spring/Summer 2017 - Visited Friends in Florida; went tubing in the mountains; wore a hoodie in May 😒 at Carolina Rebellion; beat the heat at Vans Warped Tour in July, in Charlotte (+ attended several other concerts), hung out at “The Estate” & did makeup for multiple photo shoots; saw Guns N’ Roses in concert (✔️bucket list); traveled to OZ 🌈 (The Land of OZ Theme Park in Beech Mountain, NC.) and dressed as Dorothy (I’ll post those pics too); had a few close friends visit from out of town (one of which brought me this lovely Venetian Mask - straight from Venice! 😍) and last, but certainly not least, I enjoyed playing muse to an awesome photographer (those photos turned out amazing and the set will be posted here, on Tumblr! 😁) Fall/Winter is already shaping up to be busy & fun as well - full of concerts & Fall festivals to cover for the magazine (maybe another personal photo shoot or 2! 😏😉) Bring on the fun memories! 🙂🙃🙂🙃
