for the most part, it seems this is the case. I’ve only ever known cereal to be something cool and refreshing you have for breakfast (like ice cream for breakfast but faster!) and if you want something warm you have toast/coffee/tea/proteins/pastry and was very confused and affronted when my quebecois friend said she was going to heat up milk for her captain crunch. the thought of biting into warm mushy cereal makes my teeth shrivel up

@sabertoothwalrus listen. they mean oatmeal. no one in Europe (that's sane) is putting warm milk on their "captain crunch". it's a chips vs fries thing.

The warm milk with cereal is something my dad use to do ! When i was a kid id wake up in the morning and living in freezing Canada it gets pretty cold in the house and i was like 8 years old

Now I do it because 1- i still live in Canada and its still very cold and 2- it reminds me of baby me ! I don't eat cereal really during the summer either its more of a winter thing !

Anyways Saber the audacity to do this callout on my birthday 🤨 Im gonna have celebratory warm milk later just to spite you <3
