I always think being into fandoms like super sentai is so rewarding bc there's a good chance that if you bring up an old show within the franchise you can get a bunch of people talking about it. people are still thinking about stacey, they're thinking about the lupinrangers, they're thinking about fucking jetman. you can enter as a fan of a show that's no longer on the air and people will respond to that. there's like a built-in fandom that's still active which is not always the case for old tv shows
