I did a little Ian Holm Bilbo tribute sketch in my physical sketchbook and started inking and colouring over the sketch on the iPad. I decided to leave the book in the background as it’s kind of fitting for a character that wrote and drew a lot in notebooks.
The flowers are Verbascum, which means courage.
Roads go ever ever on / Under cloud and under star, / Yet feet that wandering have gone /Turn at last to home afar.

I was thinking about Thorin, with the rejection of his cousin trailing him, traveling into the Shire alone. It's a summer night, sweetened by flowers, birdsong, and insect calls. The stars must be bright. Bag End, to him, is all golden windows and green doors. From inside, he can hear his Company--his kin and his friends--carousing and carrying on. And he knows, as soon as he joins them, they'll quieten.
Cute Idea : My mom and I thought up where Estilil, an herbalist, makes Leanna bags of ‘magic’ tea that has contraceptives within (however that works in Middle Earth…) so every time the “mood” strikes , Leanna makes some tea. After a while it would be a ~ lovely ~ indicator for Bofur that its steamy time soon. :]

I did try to do the "draw it in your style challenge" (am I late? LOL) but the only thing I kept was essentially her little apron for the peaches. 😅
