despite the resolution being shot down, the students at UNCC have an encampment and are planning on reintroducing the resolution again, please sign if you haven’t already:
when i say shot down, i don’t mean vetoed; the student body president stepped down to avoid signing it or vetoing it (which could be overruled). stepping down automatically discards all unsigned legislation and forces them to start from the beginning. needless to say they want to come back stronger. also
