Hi I was wondering if there's any plans for more f2p translations? I know some characters from there show up in white.
Hi! I actually would be glad to translate F2P. My only issue is finding a cleaner. In fact, cleaning up some of the chibi insert art with all of the powers and stuff translated to English would also be great, too. F2P has some lore that ties back a lot to what happens in the current arcs, so it'll be good to get that all translated.

Hey there guys! Real sorry for the hiatus in the blog. Long story short, college really did a number on me (+ the pandemic threw everything into a hurtle but that’s everyone, right?)
That being said, I didn’t forget about MGRP! Nor did I forget about my blog. After all, this year is the 10th anniversary of MGRP, whoo! So, a couple of things happened in the MGRP-sphere.
White came out, Breakdown’s getting physical books, turns out Black was the start of a trilogy-arc and not a duology like I used to think, among other things. Lots of stuff on the horizon, and the future looks great!
The past month, I’ve been translating a couple of chapters of White myself, the first three, in fact! You can find them on my drive here!
I’ll also check in on this blog a lot more often so feel free to shoot me any questions or just check in every now and then. I’m going to do some maintenance on the blog to make sure it’s up to par, so... good to be back here again!
So I’m actually in a unique position because as a translator I can’t exactly “react” after I read it, and I’ve read MGRP way before I started translating it, but, then I had a thought.
What if I type out my reactions, put it in notepad or some other text document, preserve it, and then after I translate it, post them all up? That way, it’ll technically still be my reactions and thoughts at the time, and I can kinda sorta join in the fandom discussion.
With Black coming out I thought Black was the perfect arc to start it, so I’ve been typing up my reactions starting with Chapter 1. I actually wanted to do it for Queens too, I just only had the idea after I was halfway through Queens. In any case, here we go:

Yes. Very much so. Unique powers, 90% new cast each arc (with some returners), it is very much in that style of JoJo.

I did say that my first names may change, but now I’m going to offer up a final list of names, which, to my best knowledge, is how I chose to translate the name (along with reasoning), and some nice name origin stuff (Because Nicopedia does that to some of the arcs, so I can too).
As I move on to reading and translating the latest novel, it’s time to see what the latest batch of girls’ powers are!
Keep in mind, being the Land of Magic, these power names can be misleading and/or half-truths. see: Ripple or Prism Cherry. That being said, here are the power descriptions.
So the time is finally upon us (even though it’s cutting it very short thank you very much Monthly MGRP). We now have a name of the Magical Girls from Black.
These are my WIP transliterated names. They may be subject to change (especially one of them since it’s a kanji situation), but here are the names and some interesting opinions I have on ‘em
Hey everyone! So it’s been a while (a long while actually, 2 years. 2.5 on my count) since I went on a slight hiatus, with MGRP having little activity aside from Breakdown and whatnot.
That being said, I’m not gone, and I’m super excited to get started on MGRP: Black! Work on Delta has been continuing, and so is Breakdown. In the next few days, I’m going to do some maintenance work on this blog and make sure it’s in tip-top shape, and by tomorrow, I should have Black in my hands.
The first good news are the new names revealed for MGRP Black! I’ll make that one in another post. But for now, sorry for the long wait, and I’m excited to be back in action!
Hey everyone! Just a quick update, my exams are finally over, but before I can do anything in my free time (including MGRP stuff), I’ve got a 1-day flight to catch (you read that right, it’ll take somewhere between 23 - 28 hours depending on layover waiting times.
This Summer Break I plan to work on more MGRP as well as some other things as I relax.
On an MGRP related thing, if anyone’s interested, as I’m pretty free for the summer, any ideas to spice up the blog? I know this one is mainly for translation purposes but I definitely love MGRP to the point where I’d be down for just talking about my thoughts with people too!
Anyways, apologies for the lack of updates, finals killed me, but now i’m headed back to life real soon. On that note, for those of you who have summer vacation, enjoy it!
