Anti depressants aren’t totally evil. They still give you that dosage of dopamine you need. But the more you consume, the more prominent the side effects.

Treat it as a last resort. Please.

Take care of yourself.

Translation: AAAA SHIT MY LIFE IS DEAD THERE’S A VAMPIRE I’M DEAD I’M DEAD I’M DEAD I’M DEAD aaaaaaaa

‘Talur’ actually means egg. Yes, Bruneians swear by saying egg all the time, and other various things. I know it sounds egg-straordinary and I can’t really egg-splain everything on how we use it but I’m definitely not egg-saturating it.

Congratulations Lin. You have successfully scared the living daylights out of Brunei. Good job.

“Woh! Your hair is standing up too and all spiky! Hey, I have durian! That will definitely matches your hair! And it’s tasty too!”

The Bruneian Empire was more or less a major naval trade port for Saudi Arabia and China. Even then, he was pretty into gold his flag was just yellow- JUST YELLOW and so the reports from the Chinese and Arabians always included the fact that there were gold everywhere for both decor and trade apparently.

“This is normal! Everyone starts with saying this. It’s only a matter of time until she finally decides to live with me! Hahahaha!”

His ego was pretty big back then And he never knew how wrong he was too.

//If I may add something, here’s part of an inquiry about the ‘Island of Borney’ ordered by the Governor General, dated April 19, 1578.

  • The Governor referred here was Francisco de Sande, the 3rd Governor General of the Philippines.
  • The islands/locations mentioned are part of the Philippines.
  • Çubu = Cebu, Lucon = Luzon
  • Back then, all natives of distant foreign lands were called ‘Indios’ or ‘Indians’.
  • This investigation was made by the Spaniards. I do not know yet what Brunei’s take on this. It’s pretty difficult to find unbiased articles made centuries ago, so its very important to know both sides of story.

Aha how true that there are no such thing as biased articles. In Bruneian history, there’s no records on detainment but there’s a hefty lot on marriage, especially with Chinese traders and Arabian and Turkish Islamic Missionaries.

As for the empire’s growth, it was either through marriage between royal families (and chiefs) or to be a protectorate as a means to defend from pirates since at the time, the Bruneian Empire had a decent naval strength - thus the reason for dominating the shores of Borneo.

Shame though that there are no specifications to what really happened- to much unanswered questions of how and why. But leaving it as it is is still interesting for the speculations does brings us on the edge of our seats.

Marriage and Brunei don’t go well together. He got terrified when he was forced to marry Malaysia at one point (wedding got canceled eventually).

He doesn’t mention Philippines in the topic of relationships.... For.... Well.... yeah...
