Working on revamp.
There are lots of changes to Rhys’s backstory. While he will be the same character personality wise, his history has been changed, as, personally, one of his downfalls for me was his all-over-the-place-and-complex biography.
No, we do not have to start a new if we’ve rp’ed before. I just ask that you keep in mind his changes, read through his information (there’s a lot, I apologize), or shoot me a private message if you’re confused or need clarification.
Up to this point, all old posts will be archived, tags will be inactive, and new posts will be tagged with new tags.
Who’s still here?
Might revamp, idk.

10. a fandom character who you would like to interact withI can't think of any off the top of my head. I'm not a big fandom person myself, so it's hard for me to name any right now. Probably anyone that is considered a villain or powerful.
14. your favorite rp friendshipThis question is a bit vague, so I'll answer it differently. Between muns, muy favorite friendship I gained through roleplay is with my best friend Lydia. We met over seven years ago through a forum roleplay, and we still talk to this day. I even flew out to visit her two years ago.As for muses, I like platonic friendships (Rhys seems to have a lot of these). Like Michael and Rhys, for example, they can talk shit, mourn about their lives, but they're there for each other as brothers in a way. When I first started this blog, I've encountered many muns who've tried to force their male muses on Rhys. Rhys isn't homosexual, nor does he have a problem with others who are. So, it's nice to encounter male muses who see him for something other than sex and romance.
20. your first rp characterI'd really, really, rather not mention this. Let's just say I was ten/eleven and getting into an anime called Shugo Chara. Leave that there.
24. your favorite rp genreI love, love, love fantasy. Most of the books I read are fantasy. I love magic and exploration of races other than humans. But, at times, I also enjoy slice-of-life. It's like a balance.

1. your favorite face claimsI don't have any favorites.
2. your least favorite face claimsJust like I don't have favorites, I don't really have least favorites either. I'd roleplay with anyone, regardless of face claim, because I look for the quality of the character, not the quality of the person they take after.
3. face claims that you are dying to useThere's a few. I thought about opening a multimuse blog just so I could use them, but I always get intimidated when I actually sit down to work on it. To name a few; Ten from NCT, Jinsoul and Yves from Loona, Tiffany Young, and some western faces like Lindsey Morgan and Alycia Debnam-Carey. Also Francisco Lachowski because that man is fine as fuck.
4. face claims that you are dying to play againstNone, really. I've never given this thought. Like I said previously, I chose character over face.
5. your favorite original-verse oc (or one of your favorites)Hands down, Rhys. He's gone through a lot of changes in two years, especially detail changes, and I still have some ideas I want to explore, but Rhys is one of my more intricate muses. Another one would be one of my older muses, Vivian. She's based off the same lore as Rhys, and Rhys's smartass, take-no-shit personality comes from her in a way. Vivian loved challenge. She loved to challenge society, people, and herself. Her premise is that, as a bearer of great power, she had to protect herself and, because she was also a young mother, her child, so she turned to crime. I would say Vivian is more antagonistic than Rhys.

There was something incredibly relaxing about the warmth and scent of the office. Perhaps it was the fact that she had entirely gutted the office and had it redecorated to her liking, but she was more inclined to think it was the atmosphere of a place she was beginning to call a second home.
(Confidence was definitely something that Jungah did not lack.)
Jungah scoffed when Rhys declined a drink; she wasn’t a low-class criminal. Really, she didn’t think of herself as a criminal at all, but rather, a businesswoman. Usually, her definitions were loose. As far as Jungah was concerned, someone of her caliber would certainly not poison a thing. When the drink girl looked at her with an unsure expression (who would tell Junah no?), she simply nodded and smiled, doing her best to look unfazed. “Well, Seoul’s water isn’t always the best, so that’s understandable.” The drink girl nodded, reaching on the bottom shelf of the cart and setting a bottle of artisan water as well as a glass down in front of Rhys.
All the while, Minwoo hid his laugher behind his hand.
Still slightly perturbed, Jungah slid the folder across the coffee table over the Rhys. “Blueprints of what we’ll be building.” She sat straight, as usual, and reached for her drink as the woman with the drink cart dismissed herself from the room (only after being stopped by Minwoo for a drink—Jungah resisted the temptation to roll her eyes). “We had someone draw up plans for a garage, etcetera. Then, at the basement levels…” She waved her free hand as if she was trailing off on her train of thought. “Well, that’s for me.”
Elaboration wasn’t needed. At least, she hoped for her sake it wasn’t. It would be too bothersome to deal with, but she had a very nagging thought that he wouldn’t let it go.
“I own a few buildings in the area and the rest of the neighborhood are all very familiar with me, so I am sure they’d love your services upon my recommendation.” She took a sip of her drink, savoring the flavor before continuing on. “If anything, I’ll be sure to utilize your services.” Cue another classic Jungah smile and Minwoo coughing out some of his drink.
She was this close to asking Minwoo to wait outside.
Asshole.
“Any questions?”
That confidence of hers remained admirable. He wondered how strong it was.
Rhys smiled cutely --- well aware how off putting his comment was --- as the drink girl did her job and left the three of them alone once again. He sat forward and smoothly flattened his palm on the folder's top to keep it from sliding off the edge (whether it would've or not). She spoke as he prodded through it. Paper after paper. Followed by blueprints. Promises. Rhys barely listened, really, until the faint coughing made him lift his head up, and was met with Jungah's smile. Something about the curve of her lips didn't feel genuine.
He wondered how strong she was.
"This is some type of laundering, hm?" Rhys asked, though he didn't expect an answer. Slowly, his fingers closed the folder, but his eyes never left her. "You introduced yourself as Jungah. But these men call you Yoon." A small tilt of his head toward the door. "Is this project--" Rhys let his words trail off for a moment. He was still sitting forward, but now he took the folder in his hands. Patient as his eyes stared and stared-- "--for you or your family?"

“THE BIBLE?”
Eyes looked at them, “Right. New to this place… Right..” Sitting back in his seat he looked around the room, he knew he had the ‘holy’ book somewhere in here. “Well, its a rule book for Christianity written with many stories depicting humanities first walking’s here on Earth after it was created.” Michael stood, fixing his clothes before looking for the Bible. “It almost immediately speaks about my father as a deceitful man…” Finding it he moved back to his desk tossing it to the surface, “There are many contradictions in this, I have never been able to fully wrap my head around it teachings. Its suppose to teach of love and trust, faith.”
Flipping a few pages into it he shook his head, “I will be the first to admit and so will my father, some of these stories are true but most of them are extremely exaggerated to make Jesus and his followers sound mighty, loving and even GOD himself." Sliding it forward, he looked at his newfound friend; “Read it in your spare time, I’m sure you’ll be amused.”
Kyan obliged, taking the book in firm hands. The bind was thick, the pages thin. He'd only open the tome once, to a random page, before closing it. His eyes were fixated on the Bible as his fingers brushed its cover. Christianity. A religion, he learned the word from Michael. It was a collection of beliefs and faiths, and Kyan wasn't a stranger to such things. "A guide book," he mumbled. To teach love and trust. Could those be taught from the pages of a book? "How can it teach love, if it hates on your father? How can it teach trust, if it lies to its followers?" The contradiction made his eyebrow raise slightly.
He opened the bible once again. This time, he slowly skimmed the pages. Each page he turned was done quietly and delicately. He couldn't make sense of the words on the pages. "There are mortals where I'm from. Many of these religions they had focused around a Goddess and her pity on mortality." Kyan paused then. He knew the stories of the Oracle well. His lover had been one of her followers. A priestess. Powerful. "She killed her God and took His power, and gave it to her titans. But when they turned murderous and hungry, She took the power back and locked them away. The mortals the titans created, she gave them a world. Gave them freewill." Kyan set the book down, still opened to a page he paused on. "She gave them the God's powers, and to some, her own." Lia, his lover once upon a time, crossed his mind. Kyan glanced at the Bible, at the word he couldn't make out, then moved his green hues to Michael and said, "Even gods have gods and then some.” His finger tapped at the single word-- Genesis. "Amused, quite so. Too bad I can't read it."
Getting old, dolls, insects
Fear-themed headcanon questions, accepting.
Getting old. Would your muse rather live 50 years loved, or 200 years alone?Rhys rather live 50 years loved. He hates being alone. Even as someone who suffered loss, betrayal, and abandonment, he'd still chose company over closing himself off.
Dolls. Has your muse ever collected something? Surprisingly, or not so, no. Rhys doesn't attach himself to objects or things.
Insects. Name something your muse finds gross or annoying. Nose picking, teeth picking-- anything that should be done privately, done publicly. Nose picking most of all. He finds it unsanitary and will probably never talk to you again if you happen to do it in front of him.
Needles, Solitude, Abandonment
Fear-themed headcanon questions, accepting.
Needles. Does your muse have a strong stomach?Depends on the situation really. Rhys can watch a man's guts fall out or brush aside the smell of decaying flesh, but the moment he eats seafood --- shrimp, mostly --- he'll hurl his own guts up within ten minutes. His stomach hates seafood.
Solitude. Name 3 things your muse couldn’t live without. A jacket, for starters. Rhys gets cold easily/is always cold, so he pretty much has more jackets than jeans at this point. A sketchbook and pencil secondly. Rhys is very much in to art, and sketching became a way for him cope. Great time killer too. Third would have to be his phone. He's not attached to it, but he thinks the contraption is pretty handy, especially when he needs to Google something.
Abandonment. How would your muse win back someone who left them?Rhys is fiercely loyal, but he's not blind. At first, he may do all in his power to prove that loyalty to whoever left him. He'd fight for them, devote himself to them. But if he can't win them back in the long run, he'll eventually come to the conclusion that it's for the best. They made their decision. They moved on. He should, too.

FROM MUN, TO MICHIKO: listen, i can't tell you what rhys thinks of you personally, but damn, you'll probably be more useful than keia. she hates getting her hands dirty and always curses at him in japanese. he doesn't mind the cursing, but damn he wishes keia at least enjoyed the mechanical bit of his career. hit him up. i'm sure you two'll get along.
