The other had an amazing speed. Crono felt the pressure of the incomming air and dodged quickly. He wouldn’t expect less from a “Saiyan” or however they used to call them.

As soon as he avoided the air blow, Crono brandished his sword and swung it along the ground, sending an air shockwave to his rival. He did that from enough distance to make it a non-letal attack since this was training for him, after all. And he had to check his rival skills before doing anything crazy. But from what he could see, this guy wasn’t showing all of his power. How strong could he be? That made Crono eager to see.

The blow was blocked by the length of his blade, with the Brave Sword absorbing most of the force from it. It wasn’t just the force; it was the energy as well, and the blade gleamed before Trunks swung, sending it right back at Chrono.

A dash forward-- and then he seemed to vanish for a moment before reappearing behind Chrono. Trunks’ back was to the other and he twisted, elbow aimed to slam into the other’s back.

My muse for Trunks is rarin’ to go. Send me asks. Send me love. Send me replies. Give it all to me.

OoC: I also thought it’d be weird if not otherwise justified (e.g. reformed villains or villains comune from an AU where they are not villains anymore)

Exactly! Trunks is more than willing to give the villains a chance. Change of hearts, seeing the harm they did, wanting to do better -- I mean his father is Vegeta and Trunks is willing to fight to the death to defend him. He understands and gets that people can change.

Or!! Villains from an AU/timeline that had to be aborted because it wasn’t the right one, and perhaps it wasn’t right because they were good.

There are a couple of villains that I would have a hard time rationalizing... Cell, Frieza, Zarbon, Dodoria, Cooler, and Bojack are the ones that come to mind as being difficult to justify their changes of heart, and the same for the future versions of 17 and 18.

HOWEVER

If you have them as your OCs mentor, that doesn’t mean you did anything wrong!! The game allows you to do this and you’re entirely allowed to do what feels right for your OC. This is just me doing what feels right for my version of F Trunks.

A post on my dash has inspired me to revisit an old headcanon (and perhaps add it into my rules?):

There are no villains in this Trunks’ TokiToki or Conton.

I completely understand it’s a mechanic in the games, and respect that people will have their characters mentor under them. It just... does not make sense to me, and I cannot see Trunks being okay with seeing the villains of the past strutting around Conton, especially when many of them make blatant references to being villains and wanting to continue horrific actions when you speak to them.

What it does mean is that, if you want interactions revolving about this Trunks being ‘your’ Trunks (aka, the one that made a wish/etc), then villains are a no-go. They have been banned from TokiToki/Conton.

Interaction can still happen otherwise! It would just be with the assumption that the time patroller is from another timeline/version of Conton, and not the one that my Trunks is from.
