SO my personal ww is that Link's Bio dad was actually a farmer/smith, but was forced to sail to save his wife when a outbreak happened on Outset, (listen to many key family members are missing on this island, from every family) so makes sense that illness spread.
Anyways back to Linebeck, I like to think as a kid to young adult Linebeck was friends with Link's bio Dad and Mom, growing up. Visiting them off and on. He even got to meet a baby Link. When Linebeck went to the world of the ocean King he has memories of a boy like Link. Basically flashing between Link and Link's dad. He finds it annoying that this kid is choosing to see the best in him, but reminds him of a old friend.
Listen I really love those three being friends. As well as Quill, because you could only have so many friends in the great sea.

I adore how Wind was just. "I told you so!" Which makes sense he fought too many Darknutts in his world. Also just his entire announce with this situation. Because one he's been disrespected too many times and two it messed with his family you don't mess with this boy's family.
