Growing up for Landon was, in his eyes, a typical childhood. However, that doesn’t mean it was all sunshine and rainbows. Born and raised in Santa Monica by Lindsey and John Danvers on an early December morning. Landon was a premature baby, who was in the NICU almost a whole week. The Doctors were Growing sure he wouldn’t make it. It wasn’t until almost 10 days later on a Christmas morning positive results were coming through, soon making a full recovery. His mom called him their Christmas Miracle. Being the religious christian people they are, it was always something they would be thankful for.
In his childhood most things were smooth sailing. A growing healthy child with his whole life ahead of him, with a happy family. It wasn’t until he was about Nine years old his mom got sick. He put on a brave face for her, but truthfully, he was terrified. He’d pray to God to heal his Mom, or at least give her more time, One thing he gained from his mother was a love of writing. He’s always made up stories for her growing up, and she would write them down for him later. So, while she kept getting sick, the more they wrote and told stories to each other to try and ease some of the pain. She passed away not to long after he started high school, and as he grieved, he likes to reflect and appreciate how much time she had, how happy she was and how much life she lived.
As he continued with high school, he grew some friends he loved, and continued to be t happy and take what life had to offer, he was part of the Varsity Baseball team, and to continue with his love of writing, joined the school newspaper and yearbook. Along with that he took AP English classes and became a tutor, which is how he met who he thought would be the love of his life. They dated from Sophomore year and on, moving out of state. with each other for college. When came home right after college graduation, he proposed. And, of course, she said yes. About a year went passed and he comes home after a tux fitting with his groomsmen to her packing her bags to leave him. It was as if his whole life crashed down as he made her stay, and packed his things to come back to Santa Monica.
Now, months have passed, he’s sold her ring to get himself an apartment and he got himself a job. He’s still beat up about it, but he’s done dwelling on it and it was time to move on with his life.
