He took off his pajama pants and replaced them with equally comfortable, but more breathable, basketball shorts. He then changed his shirt to something that matched and that he hadn’t been wearing all day. When he was done, he looked in his mirror to make sure his hair looked okay and then grabbed his bookbag.
“Alright, lets go. And please try not to get in a fight with anyone.”
He chuckles and scratches the back of his head, moving to grab his jacket and put his shoes on. Wren always dressed in nothing but black, only wearing any other color every so often. Something about the color on him made him feel more confident in his looks. He checks his wallet to make sure he had cash to pay for the taxi, then nods and looks up at the other.
“Aight,” he says, stepping up to open the door. “After you… No guarantees but I’ll try.” He laughs softly.
