Surely-Sims and I have both been longtime fans of Juno, so getting to do this collab has been an absolute dream, and we're so excited to finally get to share it with you all!

Not wanting to confuse Maya with old memories, the young family decided to sell up and move to Brindleton Bay for a fresh start. They loved Mayumi's old house in Mt. Komorebi, but they really wanted somewhere that was truly their own.

WHEEEEEEEEEE

No sooner had she entered the pool, Mayumi found herself floating back into the kitchen she had just left. There was a collective gasp from Elio, Miguel and Allan, but it was the latter who swooped in and picked the infant up off the counter.

They understood who Maya Romano was and made a promise to give her the best life. The Watcher had installed an expansion pack after all, so such things were expected!

With no unfinished business, Mayumi suddenly found herself in an unusual place, with an oddly glowing lake. She didn't know why, but she understood that she would have to enter the lake. Perhaps her glamorous swimwear getup was a giveaway.

Mayumi watched everything from a distance. She wasn't ready to leave her family just yet, as she had a couple of things to do. She knew that her son and grandson would feel guilty about rarely making good on their promises to visit, so she made sure to let them know there were no hard feelings and she wanted them to live their lives free of guilt.

Besides, her will almost entirely benefited Elio. She decided to leave that little nougat of information out of their heart to hearts.

The rest of Mayumi's funeral went as planned. The family did various small things in her memory, following her wishes.

Mayumi wanted a light-hearted funeral, so Elio delivered a rather forced, but cheerful eulogy to a positively miserable audience. At least, he thought, his grandmother would be somewhat entertained by it all.
