Fundraiser masterpost

This is a masterpost for the evacuation fundraisers I've vetted so far, a few other fundraisers I find trustworthy but have not been able to vet (inability to communicate with the organizer), and a few semi-completed fundraisers or fundraisers for a different purpose (like house rebuilding, or aid distribution). The numbers next to the names have no significance beyond ease of navigation for me for when I check their progress in the future. You should look at the disclaimers instead and focus on those. Occasionally I will update these with new info, including new fundraisers, and the amount of cash that's been raised. Check in regularly on the original post when you see it being reblogged. In all likelihood once its reached you it's already outdated. Also please don't overlook the Sustainable Aid options near the bottom! I actually can’t right now I’m so angry. Do westerners realize that a direct Iranian attack against Israel is literally unprecedented & that this strike marks a major shift in all that’s been happening & that this is grounds for interception by the US. Does anyone realize that Iranian drones have to cross Iraq to access and strike Israel, making it an all too perfect situation for Iraq to be sucked into what could be a regional war. Does anyone realize how serious this is. We have families there.

I wonder if the airman who self-immolated noticed how quickly the first person to do it in protest was completely fucking buried by the media, hence the steps he took to get noticed.

Because in case you haven't heard, someone self-immolated in front of the Israeli consulate in Atlanta GA in December. It got very little attention and I don't think anyone in the media has even bothered to try and find out if they survived.

the NYT has already decided to not mention any of his speech in their reporting, importantly him declaring that he is active duty and that “I will no longer be complicit in genocide. Free Palestine.”

self immolation is one of the most extreme forms of protest one can do, and the fact that the media is already trying to suppress it should signify that even more to you. there are graphic videos online, tread carefully etc, but do not let this action become quieted. let it be the turning point it should be.
