@pool-boy-nilesy Jade and Nilesy had been married for many, many years. Over a human lifetime in fact. After getting his immortality Nilesy stuck with her and she had never been more thankful. But as the years droaned on Jade had to work more and more. The world just seemed always on the brink of total chaos. She’d be gone for days, even weeks at a time before she got to come back home to Nilesy. But every time he welcomed her with open arms and a smile. After a long week of ordering demons around and keeping them from killing each other she finally had some time to breathe. And she knew just where she wanted to go. Home. She let her horns and tail melt away, shrinking down to change back into her human body. She approached the lavish home, admiring the wonderful architecture as she pushed the front door open. “Nilesy! I’m home~!” She called, her heart racing as she imagined how happy he would be to see her.

What stage of sleep was Nilesy in? 

He has consciousness, but he felt like he’s been lying down for way too long. The pool boy….no pool man….well…pool boy sounds more cute, but pool man is just as good. Either way, he got up and shakes his head awake from the calling of his name. 

Nilesy rises from the couch, the master spell book was on the coffee table and Lyndon buggered off somewhere as usual. 

“Good morning world….and all who inhabit it…” he yawns and turns his head to Jade, “Jade what happened where am I?” 

@pool-boy-nilesy When a cute warlock didn’t come rushing towards her she knee he must have been sleeping. Lyndon was purring and rubbing against her legs, begging for attention. She pet him softly before walking over to the couch where she could hear Nilesy snoring. He slept a lot more these days, most immortals did sleep an absurd amount. Jade didn’t have that luxury, she always kept so busy there was no time for it. She sat down on the coffee table and pushed some hair out of Nilesy’s face. “Well you’re at home and I assume you fell asleep.” She rolled her eyes and kissed his forehead gently.

“It’s like I’ve been sleeping for two years….hell two thousand years,” the pool boy grabs his glasses from the coffee table and pushes the spectacles up the bridge of his nose, “Definitely a one point five year. I’m serious…” 

He gets up and places a soft kiss onto Jade’s forehead, “Glad to see you came back well.”

“Two weeks at the most. But very close.” She stood up as well though it didn’t do her much good. He was so bloody tall. “I almost didn’t. I had a few close calls out there. Alistair was giving me a lot of grief.” She sighed and rubbed her face, she was very stressed out and it showed. She just needed some time with her Nilesy.

“Oh, you’re just in time for the cookies I made earlier. I made chocolate chip for real this time instead of oatmeal raisin,” Nilesy cheekily smiles, “I promise,” he places both of his hands up in joking defense. 

@pool-boy-nilesy Jade’s tired eyes seemed a little more joyful when he said he made cookies. A soft smile graced her lips as she reached to take one of his hands and hold it. “My favorite. How did you know?”

“How could I forget, it’s one of my favorites too.”

Jade’s smile is always contagious to Nilesy, except it’s so contagious that his shark teeth show in gleeful way. It’s more cute than something one would see in Jaws. 

Holding Jade’s hand, he leads him into the kitchen to show the plate of newly baked cookies on the counter, “I would say wait until it cools, but….well…You can handle the heat.”
